_ [Em] _ Well, my main [Eb] sound that I like to use [A] is the Royal [G] Blue Overdrive by Mad Professor.
So basically, I'll show you an example of what it does.
It just thickens the sound up a little bit.
It doesn't really add major gain or boost to it.
It just makes it more rounder.
So this is just the amp.
[Gb] _
_ _ [Gbm] _ _ _ _ _
And [G] then the pedal.
[A] _ [Gb] _ [Gbm] _ _
_ _ _ [Em] _ [Bb] _ [Dbm] _ _ [G] _
_ Yeah, so it's really nice.
So then, I always leave that pedal on all the time.
That's my secret trick, I've just told you all. _
And if I want to add a boost on top of that, I've got something called the King of Tone by Analog Man.
And that's a pedal that's got two tube screamers in one.
So if I hit one of them as a boost, and if I want to get real crazy, I can hit the other side.
_ [N] So_
_ _ [Gb] _ _
_ _ _ [G] That's where the first [Eb] boost starts. _
_ [Gb] _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _
_ _ _ _ I hit the second boost now.
[E] _ I _ [Gb] _ _ _ _
[Ab] _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ _ _ _
[Gb] _ _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ [Eb] _
_ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _ _ _
[Eb] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Fm] _ _ _ like to keep it quite simple, so that is all I use as a distortion sound.
And then I've got a few little things on top.
I've [N] got a _ Polytune tuner.
It's as simple as just does what it says, it tunes the guitar. _ _
Which I sometimes need, because I constantly get the whammy bar going out of the [Gb] mic.
So [Ebm] _ _ _ [F] _ [G] _ _
it comes in handy.
I've got _ just a standard Crybaby wah, which is really nice. _
[Fm] _ _ _ _ [C] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
So _ _ _ [Abm] _ _ [C] _ _
_ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _ yeah, I like it.
I've tried a few different wah-wahs, and [Ab] they always break after a while.
So this one _ seems to not be broken on me yet.
_ And then on my new album that I've done, I've _ added a couple of tracks.
I used something called a Micro Pog, which is kind of like an octave pedal,
but a more modern octave pedal, as I would describe.
So I'll give that a blast for you.
_ _ [C] _ [Gb] _ _
[Ab] _ [B] _ _ [Gb] _ _ _ [Am] _ [Abm] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ [Ab] _
_ _ _ _ [Abm] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [F] _ _ [Gb] _ [Db] _
_ [Ab] _ _ _ _ _ _ [Abm] _
_ _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _
_ _ _ [Db] _ _ _ [Ab] _ _
_ _ [G] _ [Fm] _ [E] _ [Eb] _ [N] _ _
_ _ Cool. _ _ _ _
And then I've got two more pedals that I use on the board.
I use something called a Neon Ventilator.
_ It's probably my most expensive pedal.
Neon Ventilator 2.
I think that's something like 350 quid, along with a King of Tone pedal.
But that's my favourite pedal.
And on this pedal it's a [Em] Leslie, so it's got a slow speed and a fast [Abm] speed on there.
_ [Gb] _ _ _ _ [Abm] _ [Gb] _ _
_ _ [Abm] _ _ [Gb] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Abm] _ [Db] _ _
_ [Abm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Gb] _ _ _ [B] _ _ [Gb] _ _
[Db] _ [C] _ [Db] _ _ _ So it's really nice, because _ _ you _ [E] can change the setting of if you want the cabinet to go round which way.
And I've got it set up at the moment like a phaser, so it doesn't sound like a Leslie.
And then this is the fast setting [Eb] speed. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Bbm] _ _ [Bb] _ _ [Ab] _
_ _ [Eb] _ _ [Ab] _ _ [Eb] _ _
[Bbm] _ _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ [E] _
_ [Eb] Cool.
[G] _ _ _ [Ab] _ [Bbm] _
_ [Db] _ _ [Ab] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Eb] _ _ _ _ [Gb] _ _
_ _ [Fm] _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _
[Eb] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [Bb] _
_ _ _ _ _ [N] _ So it beats carting around one of them.
Big Leslie pedals.
And then _ my last pedal on my board is another Mad Professor Deep Blue Delay pedal.
And I'm lucky enough to be endorsed by Mad Professor.
And I think they're really great pedals, keep it really simple.
No fancy things, normally three to four knobs on each pedal.
This one's just got a level, repeat and delay.
And the Royal Blue Overdrive has just got volume, bass, treble and drive.
The way I like it, because I don't want so many knobs on the board.
So this is just a delay.
I normally set it quite long when I'm doing the slow blues.
[Fm] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Bbm] _ _ _ _ _ [Eb] _ [Fm] _
_ [Gb] _ That's _ [Fm] _ _ _

[F] _ _ _ _ [Ab] _ _ _ _
