Well Robert, of all the gigs that could bring you back after this length of time, why Nebworth?
Well, I don't know.
It's the eternal problem of what to do first and what to do when, when we decided that we were
in a mood to start playing again.
And we've always shied away from big concerts because having done them in America, sometimes they work and sometimes they don't.
But I think a lot of the
element of success is usually left with the artists at the end.
And I reckon that the mood that we've been in the last two weeks playing together, I think.
Our debts in the past with live gigs won't have any foundation.
I think we'll be alright.
I think that was the reason in the past, but I think we can dispel that now.
Are you going to be doing something very different at Nebworth and on the new album, or is it going to be
what we might expect?
Well, everything goes in circles, doesn't it?
You know, I mean,
I guess we all started with the same amount of
venom and feather, and some of us [E] lofted in hotel [A#] rooms in America and regained it on the way [N] back.
But as far as how we will be seen, I think the music will speak for itself.
It'll stand up there as it always has.
There'll be new bits, bits from the past, maybe just a little bit different.
I mean, the thing is, if we have a rehearsal that lasts four hours and we run through all sorts of stuff, you can't
interpret the same things that you were doing eight years ago identically.
Things always change, that's why.
[C] After two years, we can still get together and play and it makes sense.
