Hey, what's happening guys?
I'm back to [G] do another lesson.
It's time for [F] Let It Loose.
This is another cover that I did a couple years ago that I guess I got a
couple requests to do a [D] lesson on it.
So here [E] goes.
[C] You're going to [F] put a capo at
the third fret [Fm] and [C] that's pretty repetitive chords all throughout [Bb] but
there are little subtle changes that I'll show [E] you.
[D] So it starts with a
D but you're [G] not going to have your second finger down on the [Dm] high E.
You're going to have the high E string open [C] like that and you're going to
switch [Bb] to
[F] I don't exactly know the name of this chord [Eb] but it's in C.
You're not
going to play a C [F] chord though.
You're going to play the bass note of that
C [Eb] chord.
[Abm] With [E] your ring finger you're going to put it down on [D] the
fourth fret of the [Eb] D string and [Bb]
[Gb] then on that [Bb] G string you're going to hit it open
[A]
[Bb] and [Fm] you're going to add your first finger to [G] the second fret and [Dm] [Bb]
[D] [Eb]
[A] [F] after you
add your first [Fm] finger to the second fret of the G string you're going to hit the open [Eb] B
string.
[Bb] Go to
It's part of a G but you're not going to play the whole G chord.
[N]
You're
going to play this note at the [Fm] third fret along with [F] the open D and G [Bb] strings.
Go down to the second fret and do [A] the same thing.
[F] [A]
Then you're going to go to [C] A.
[Bb]
[Cm] [Ab] After you [C] play the A chord you [Bb] put your second finger [F] down on the third fret of the [Bb] low E.
[Cm] Play the [C] notes in the A chord again [F] and then go back to [C] the
[Eb]
[F]
This [G] time it goes to E minor.
[Eb]
[Bb]
[C] [G]
[Eb]
[Bb] [G]
[Bb] [F]
You see how [G] that alternates.
[N] Once it'll go to [C] the A.
[Bbm] [C] [C]
[Eb] [Bb]
[G] [Bb]
[G] [E] When it goes to the E [G] minor, after the E minor you're going [Bb] to switch [F] to [Bb] G.
You're only going to have your second finger on [C] the low E.
You're going to [Fm] just kind of hit those bass strings [Bb]
and with your first [E] finger
you're going to kind of jump [N] from the second fret of the A to [Bb] the D [F]
and do a
little hammer on [G] there.
Pull off, whatever that is.
[C]
[Gm] [Eb] [Bb]
[C] [Bb]
[C] [Eb]
[Bb]
[G] [Bb] [C]
It does that through most of the
song.
When it gets to the end I think that [G] Keith is strumming a little [F] bit more.
[Eb]
[Bb]
[G] [F]
[Eb] [Bb]
[G] [C]
[F] [Eb]
[Bb] [Gm]
[Bb] [F]
[Eb] [Bb]
[C]
[F] The only other part I can think of to show [G] you is [D]
there's a little riff, a little lick
that Keith throws in [F] at the end where
[D] [G]
[E] [F] you're going to go from the [C] D to
I guess this
[F] would be like a G [N] because it's part of a D position at the seventh fret.
[C]
[G] [Gb] Well,
you're going to put your ring finger underneath [Bb] your first finger.
[G]
[N] Then you're going to go
with your first finger to ring finger, [C] let's see, [F] seventh to ninth.
[D] [Am]
[Gm] [Bb]
[D] [G] [Gm]
So [F] you're going to
go from a D.
[D]
[G]
[F]
[D] [C] [Ab] You're going to walk across from a D.
After [Bbm] you do that little hammer on with
that D shape,
[C] [Ab] you're going to go from [G]
[C] [D] the
I guess with your first finger you could [Ab] bar
it and kind of do
bar at least the D and the G string [Fm]
and [G]
[A] do the same thing when you
move over to the [C] A string.
[F] Because you're going to want to hammer on that note but you
kind of [Eb] want to hear [C] that [D] note that's being barred.
[G] You [F]
[Bb] slide that whole thing down to
E minor.
[D] [G]
[Bb] [F]
[Gb] Alright, so I think that's everything [C] in the song.
[Eb] [Bb]
[C] [Cm]
[C] [Eb]
[Bb] [G]
[Bb] [C]
Alright, good luck with it.
[Eb] [Bb]

[F] [A]

[Bb]
[Cm] [Ab] After you [C] play the A chord you [Bb] put your second finger [F] down on the third fret of the [Bb] low E.
