And use three sets of drums

Mark [B] knows that the [Bb] crickets have _ [Db] [B] always made good [Eb] music

That [B] _ they've [Bb] played over the [Eb] years
I was on the [C] early records of Deca
[F] _ [Ab] We were [B] at that time [F] just sort of Elvis [Db] clones
And I played [Bb]
like Chet Ack and [Db] Scotty Gore
And that sort of stuff
And I know Buddy liked that [F] style
[Ab] I left the [Eb] group to go on the [E] road with Slim Whitman
[C]
Just before they performed the crickets
[F] My love is bigger [C] than a _ [Bb] Cadillac
I [E] thought [Eb] going on the road with Slim Whitman would be a [F] better deal

And [Em] of course I was with [Db] him about 15 minutes

anyway [F] I think that [Em] really did kick Buddy into high gear
[Dm] He developed that really powerful [Eb] rhythmic style _
Once he took over playing the lead [C] guitar
I [Db] think that had a lot to do with the crickets making it

Or I [Ab] don't
But when somebody like Paul McCartney says
