Hello, I'm Justin, I'm the keyboardist, and I'm the youngest of the band, being 11 years [Gb] old.
We started our band, [A] [E] Liliac, four years ago, [Gb] playing covers and performing on the [A] Santa Monica Pier.
[Gb] It was a great start for us, [A] building our confidence and getting [Gb] lots of practice and exposure.

It's what brings us together as a family.
Our father is our manager and producer for the band, and our mom is a big help with doing shipping, monitoring, and other major roles.
Together as a band, we've had some awesome opportunities and unbelievable experiences, such as being on the World's Best TV Show on CBS.

First I want to know, what is [N] the meaning of the name of the band, the Liliac band?
_ Liliac in Romanian means vampire bat.
And our parents are from Romania, my dad actually lived in Transylvania, an hour away from Dracula's castle.

[N] And I want to give you guys a heads up, a local band is on the rise.

Our greatest accomplishment was releasing our first original album called Chain of Thorns, which [F] was a [Ab] huge success.

We sold copies all over the world.
[Fm] _ And it hit number one on [A] Amazon's new releases, [C] and number two on Amazon's best sellers.
We are all about spreading positivity [Ab] and making great rock [Eb] music with good meaningful [D] lyrics.
That is why [C] we want to move forward and [Ab] record and release our new [Eb] second full length album.
[Gm] As an independent [C] band, we do everything ourselves, which means all the costs are on us.
[Eb] _ We love music and we want to do it [Ab] for the rest of our lives, and to be able to do it together as a [Ebm] family is a blessing.

_ [Gm] _ The real question is, how much would it actually cost [Dm] to get a full length album done down [E] here in LA?
Now [A] that's a job for some _ [G] mathematicians. _

One song [Eb] will take about 20 hours to complete, [Dm] with [G] recording, editing, and mixing.
[Bb] _ According to my [D] calculations, one song equals 1,500 each, and [Gm] since we are doing 12 songs, [Bb] that will calculate [D] to_ _ $18,000.
_ [Eb] Wait, we can't forget CD [F] duplication, which is $4 [Gm],500 for [Am] 5,000 CDs.
[Bb] _ [C] Plus [Eb] the album artwork that will end up being $450.
[F] _ So [D] in total, it will cost $22 _ ,950 [Gm] to make this album.
