Hey guys today, we're gonna be looking at Lion and the Lamb by Leland or Bethel
The original song is in the key of C, but most people aren't playing it in C
So today we're gonna be looking at it in the key of A major
The song is at 90 BPM and let me walk you through my tone real quick
My delay is a digital delay on my timeline with a mix set at around 49%
But my repeats are really short.
So when I hit my delay it bounces back about two or three times before fading away completely
And then a small Hall reverb and then let me walk you through what I'm doing on my overdrives here
I'm using a JHS morning glory for my overdrive one and their bondi effects sick as for my overdrive two
however
What I found is that when I first turned them on they were really thin sounding for this tune
So I'm using a BBE sonic stomp as well.
And if you're familiar with that pedal
There's two knobs on there
That you can use to create kind of a scooped mid or boost the high or boost the low end on your guitar
and so I have
The low knob up a little bit higher than what I usually have on my board just to try and thicken up
My overdrives a little bit more just make sure that your electric guitar tone
Is it very thin on this tune or it'll sound really twangy for what you're trying to do
Lastly there are two bridge parts and I'm going to show you both of those and you can choose which one you would rather play
