Hey, it's Andrew Huang!
I don't know if you saw my recent video where I made lo-fi hip-hop out of water bottles.
I called it lo-fi hip-hop, and I got a little bit of flack for that.
But I was going for that chill, instrumental hip-hop vibe, and I recreated vinyl crackle using a pouch of water.
Not strictly lo-fi, I know, but probably the best that can be done with literally four water bottles.
Pffft.
Anyway, that reminded me of some actual lo-fi hip-hop that I've been working on,
so I am dropping an album or beat tape or playlist or whatever it's called nowadays right now in this video.
It'll also be on Spotify and Apple Music and wherever you usually get your music.
I hope you enjoy these beats.
In the meantime, I have to go to Norway.
Hello, friends.
[E] I'm really glad to be with you and [F#]
sharing music.
I [E] mean, talk about spirit, you know, this is great.
[F#] This is a holy grail album.
I just really [Em] love records.

[N] I've been so busy, I've forgotten to talk about why I'm traveling right now.
But this isn't a vacation and it's not for a sponsored project.
This is a trip purely to work with some awesome YouTuber friends.
I'm in Oslo right now to make some videos and music with Cuckoo, which I'll be able to share with you really soon.
And then I'm gonna save the other people as a surprise for later.
Here's the next beat.

I have made my way to a beautiful remote part of Sweden now.
I always used to be at home and wanting to go on travel adventures, but then when I was traveling, I would crave having a proper workspace to create music in.
And two things have really helped with that.
First, I've gotten a lot better at being in the moment.
I'm not amazing at it, but I'm definitely better than I used to be and not having these grass is always greener type of thoughts.
And the second thing is finding ways to bring the music with me.
The portability of a lot of music technology these days is amazing.
I've recorded a lot of instruments and vocals on the move.
If I have some downtime, like while I'm waiting for a train, I'll just find a place to plant and make a beat.
And actually, when I started filming this video back at home [A#m] and announced this album, I hadn't finished it yet.
So I'm gonna do that today.
