Looking For A Tenor-Gerald Wolfe/Songwriter of the Year chords

I've been coming to the National Quartet Convention every year since 1984.
I believe, yeah, it was 1984.
And I've noticed a trend, something that seems to happen every year here at the convention,
at least that I see when I'm walking around.
And so last week I was on the bus, and you know, Rodney, he's written over 400 songs
and been Songwriter of the Year 12 years in a row.
Chris has written about 85 songs, and they won't give me an opportunity.
But I was sitting on the bus last week, Friday, we were in Canada, and it just, this,
I mean, it was just like it just started, I mean, this song just started coming as fast as I could write.
And I knew it had been encouragement, especially to the groups that are here,
and I hope that would be to you too, so I recruited me a little, put me a little quartet together,
and apparently a bluegrass band I didn't know about.
Praise the Lord.
All right.
[D] [G]
[A] He did it again.
Thank you.
So I'm going to, here's the [D] lyrics, I'm going to pass this out.
You sing the [G] baritone part, and you do [Gb] the lead melody, and you do, John, you do the tenor,
and you play, and I'm going to sing the bass.
[N] So now let me just say that if you like this, you come to my booth and you can order a copy of it,
and then next year I'm going to start now doing something I've never done before.
I'm campaigning to be Songwriter of the Year next year.
Just one time, one time, and then Rodney can have it back or whoever,
but I want it one time, Songwriter of the Year, and maybe Song of the Year.
After you hear this, it might be Song of the Year.
So kick it off there, Wichita, and we'll see how we do it here, all right?
[G]
[Em] [Gm] [C] [D] [G] In case you can't follow, we [Eb] might put the [G] words on the [D] screen.
