Mac Miller - 2009 // easy guitar tutorial for beginners chords
Start Jamming...
Guys, what's up?
It's Brian back here again with another guitar tutorial
I got a request to do some Mac Miller and I kind of wanted to wait just because you know, I didn't want to
Have that kind of impression that I was trying to just like put stuff out there
To profit off of somebody's death.
That's really just not what I'm about
You know, I do know that
when X died
You know, I did have some songs on my on my tutorial list already
You know, but I was definitely cautious of like putting anything new out there until you know
Kind of enough time had passed
But it's the same thing with Mac Miller, you know, I definitely feel bad for his family and friends, you know, so but
You know, I do I do have some requests that I want to fulfill so I'm gonna do that
And before we get started if you haven't subscribed to this channel
I hope you consider doing so do all sorts of stuff like this like my you know, like Jake Cole like Drake
So if you're new to guitar, do you want to learn using the freshest news music that's out there?
But of course is this channel for you and I hope you'll consider subscribing.
So this song is 2009
It's you know, there's there's a lot of instrumental going on, but I'm just gonna cover kind of the the
the
The part that's kind of in the [F#] the actual song, okay, you can't what's gonna be on the second fret
And you're gonna [F#m] do a minor
Okay, and that's gonna [C#m] be zero two two zero zero zero then you're gonna go B minor
Okay, and that's gonna be two two, four four three two
[D] And then you're gonna go see
Okay, zero three two zero one [A] zero then G
Three two zero zero zero [F#] three then a minor just to finish [Bm] that out.
Okay, so
[F#] And then a minor zero zero two two one zero
So in your a minor is gonna be kind of your dominant chord for this song.
So you're gonna go
[C#m] E minor B C [Bm] G a minor two three four E
Okay, [A] [Bm] [F#m] you really just you don't even have to like do a lot of strumming here you're just gonna hit the chords
Okay, minor [D] B minor C [B] D
minor [Bm] two up down [F#m] down
[Bm]
[D] [Bm]
[C#m] [Bm] [N] So the song kind of goes along like that throughout the entire kind of progression
So it's it's an easy song to kind of learn and adjust and listen to and play along because it's also about six minutes long as well
But it does include that little piano instrumental which is really cool
and I might try to get to
Transcribing that to guitar but that one might take me a while.
Cool.
Hope you enjoyed this tutorial.
