Maddie Poppe - Keep On Movin' On (Behind The Scenes) chords
Start Jamming...
[D] [A] Hey, I'm Maddie Poppy and we are on the set of my music video for Keep On Moving On.
Holding [D] fire to Polaroids [A] of me and you, [E] babe.
[A] Lighting [D] up these memories [A] and watching them [E] turn to smoke.
It's all [A] going to be in one take.
It's all these different [E] scenes set up and I'm going to be narrating it as I slide across on this dolly in the front.
And so there's actors and [D] actresses acting it out [A] and I think it's super [E] cool because it just [A] reminds me of [Bm] a theater production.
[A] And we're going to try and get the whole thing in one take without [D] stopping the camera.
[A] And so I think it's going to take a few tries [A] but it's going to be really cool to watch.
[D]
[A] [E] [A] The [D] song is basically [A] about having this [E] heartbreak and then just [A] realizing it's [D] going to be okay.
[A] But I think in [E] the lyrics [A] you can kind of tell [Bm] this person is still [A] getting over this heartbreak [E] but trying to see the light [A] at the end of the tunnel.
[D]
[A] [E] My name is Jeff Venable.
[B] I'm the director for Maddie [E] Poppy's Keep On Moving On.
We're doing a thing [D] called a ride along which [A] is where two [E] dollies are connected to each other.
The [D] person that's [A] sitting on the other dolly is [E] moving with the shot [F#m] although the background [D] is changing.
What's [E] happening in the story is a girl has gotten broken up with by her boyfriend.
[A] She's driving her car.
[D] She's crying.
That transitions her into the bedroom where she finally decides [E] to get rid of his memories and then [F#m] eventually takes all his old belongings [D] and puts them out into the trash.
She finds a puppy and that basically turns her life back in the right direction.
The camera then goes back through all the different scenes of her life.
And then in the last scene where she first got broken up [E] with, she meets a new [A] boy and they lived happily [Bm] ever after.
You're probably [A] wondering, well, [E] since it's one take, how is [D] one girl going to be in one [A] scene and then in the next scene and the next scene and the next scene while we're actually using twins?
The girls are sprinting behind the backdrops.
What you don't see on camera is they're changing clothes and sprinting.
There's dogs being handed off and she's jumping on the bed.
It's a madhouse getting to see it [E] around the camera, but hopefully, hopefully [D] in frame, it's just going to look like one smooth [A] ride.
[D] [A]
