MAJOR Songs In MINOR! chords
Start Jamming...
Hi, I'm Stevie T, and for today's video, I took some popular songs that are in the major scale,
and I transposed them to fit the minor scale.
So here's a brief explanation for those of you who aren't in music.
This is the major scale.
Do, re, mi, fa, sol, [A] la, ti, do.
[B] So songs that are in the major scale will have this happy, jovial type sound to them.
But now here's the minor scale.
Do, re, mi, fa, [Am] sol, la, ti, do.
So songs in the minor scale will generally sound more sad and more creepy sometimes.
Anyways, maybe now you have at least a basic understanding of the minor and major scales.
So without further ado, I present to you my major songs in the minor scale.
[Dm] [Am]
[G] [D]
Hey, correct yourself [A] again.
There's only in your [G] head to feel left out.
[D] Look down on.
Just try your best.
Try everything [Am] you can.
And don't you [Gm] worry what you tell themselves.
When you're [D] away.
It just takes some time.
Maybe you're in the [A] middle of the ride.
Everything, everything [G] will be just fine.
Everything, everything [D] will be all right, all right.
[Am] [F#m]
[Dm] [Em]
Every breath [Am] you take.
Every [F#m] move you make.
Every bond [Dm] you break.
Every step you [Em] take.
I'll be watching you.
[F#m] [G#] [E]
I'm not a perfect [C] person.
There's many things I wish I [E] didn't do.
But I continue [C] learning.
I never meant to do those things to [A] you.
And so I have to say before I [Bm] go.
That I just want you to [Em] know.
I found a reason for [C] me.
[Cm] To change who I used to [A] be.
A reason to start [Bm] over new.
And the reason [Em] is you.
[C]
[D#] [D#]
[F] [G] [G#]
[F] [G] [F] It's all [G] right to tell [G#] me what you think [C] about me.
I won't try to [G#] argue or hold it [C] against you.
I know that you're [G#] leaving.
You must have your [C] reasons.
The season [G] is calling.
Your [F] pictures are falling down.
