How you doing?
This is Mark [E] Tremonti here at Metal Sucks and I'm gonna watch some people cover our tunes and give you my feedback.
I'm looking forward to [F] it.
[C#] You can tell he's feeling it.
He's feeling what he's playing.
That's important.
[C#m]
[D#]
[G#] You know, he's doing his own take on part of the solo [E] and it's killer.
You know, I think [G] that's awesome.
You know, [C#] sometimes when you cover songs you [B] get to do your own little flare up.
That was killer.
[D] He's got the 6 and the 12 paired up.
Sounding great.
[F#m] Some percussion on the other guitar.
That's cool.
[E]
[E] He's got all four guitars kicking now.
He's got the [F#] vocal melody going on in one and the percussion on the other.
The [A] 12 and the 6 [C#] keeping [E] on the rhythm.
That's great.
[D]
[B] See the bass guitar here is really the lead part so he's covering it up with [F#] the acoustics which is cool.
[D] That's great.
I love the fact that he spent all that time layering all [B] those different angles and all the different guitars and turning it into a big orchestrated piece.
That's really great.
[F#m]
[C#] I've seen these guys before.
[D#] These [A] guys kill it.
He's [C#m] using his ring for the slide [F#m] effect.
That's [D] killer.
You know what I [A] love about this video is these guys are standing up, they're [G#m] rocking, they're like performing it like they're on [F#m] stage.
There's a lot of people sitting down in their bedrooms and playing sitting down but [F#] standing up [B] performing, that's how [F#m] you're going [F#] to do it in front of [F#m] people.
They did that, they killed [D] it.
You can tell they spent a lot of time learning that and playing it.
[A]
Hats off to those guys [G#] for sure.
[B]
[B] Sounding good.
Good tone, good technique.
[E]
[B]
[C#m] [F#] [B]
[C#m] Got the [F#] bridge.
Pretty nice.
I play it a little different than he plays [B] it but [B] it sounds great.
She [F#]
[E]
[Bm] [F#] looks like she's having fun.
[E] She's making it much [E] harder than it actually is.
[A] She's actually playing it [Bm] [F#] maybe in a different tuning or [E] something with a lot of long [C#m] stretches on the [Bm] guitar.
It's actually [F#] easier to play than that.
But [E] she's pulling it off regardless and making it sound perfect.
[Bm]
[F#]
[D]
[C#]
[B]
[F#m] [D]
She rules.
[C#m]
[B]
[F#] [C#] Yeah.
[D] [C#]
[G]
She [D]
absolutely [F#] killed [G#] that song.
[F#] Tora, you are awesome.
[D#]
[A#] [Am] [Cm]
Nice.
[C#]
[C]
[D#] [C] [F]
[Cm]
[G#]
[D#] Killing it.
That's all the tough parts.
[A#] They knocked it out of the park those two.
[G#] [D]
[Bm]
[D]
You know the [F#m] most impressive thing [F#] here is that he's singing and playing that which [G] is really difficult to do.
[D] [A]
[G]
And [D] he's got a good vocal [A] range to cover those [F#] Scott Stapp vocals.
[G] Again, singing and [D] playing that, that's a pain in the ass.
He [F#] [Bm] did a killer job.
[E] Hey, thank you Metal Sucks for turning me [E] on to these [F] YouTube clips that do [G] not suck.
These people were all [D] awesome, top [A#] notch.
I [E] didn't see any bad notes.
I saw a bunch of [C] different [E] takes on a few things I do.
But I think it's [F] awesome to do [E] your own thing.
[F] Badass.
Absolutely.
Very impressive.
So, thank you guys.
