[B] I think that [G#m] this album, it's really risky in a way, [C#m] and it's really fun to get to observe people starting to hear it and enjoy it, [E] because it's a little bit out there.
There's just a lot of grooves and musical ideas that just don't sound familiar, but at the same time don't feel unfamiliar for the sake of being unfamiliar.
And that's really cool.

This is one of [A#] the first [N] rehearsals that we've had since the album has been done.
So it's kind of the first time coming back into that space where
first we spent just a tremendous amount of time rehearsing and getting the music together
and then recording it, and then getting all the production work that goes into finishing an album.
And then this was the first time coming back together and being like, okay, let's make more music.
I think Dio is kind of a, it's like a gauge for our community and our time.
It's like a snapshot [C#] of like the people in our community, music that people are creating, art that people are creating.
It's kind of this like, this like finger on the pulse.
I came to Dio Fest kind of through Matt.
I didn't know anything about it, and I was just like mind blown by how much fun everybody was having.
And then I saw these guys play the amphitheater set, and I heard like Marty pick up your guitar to play one note to tune.
And I heard that one like chunk on the guitar, and I knew, I was like, that's the [Em] sound I want to be [N] a part of.
Like that's the band I want to play with.
Nice.
Yeah.
Yeah, you really chunked it.
I'm glad you tuned right there.
That was my intention with that moment.
If I strum this just right, Ben will join the band.
