Hey everybody, it's Matt Marr and I'm just doing a quick tutorial on the song Glory, Let There Be Peace.
The recording is in F sharp.
My guitar is tuned down a whole step, and I sang it, this acoustic version,
maybe you just saw, I sang it in F.
So I'm gonna do the chords in F, okay?
_ _ The verse chord progression is very very simple.
_ _ It's just basic, your basic 1-5-6-4, okay?
So it's for you theory gurus.
[F] So it's F, and then to a C, to an E minor, [Bb] to a D.
_ _ _ If you're playing the piano, I just kind of play whole notes, and the acoustic [F] guitar,
you could just, you can kind of strum.
This is called strumming a diamond.
So you just kind of do that.

[Bb] _ _ _ -4, so that's F, C, D minor, B flat.
And then the chorus is
B flat, [F] to an F, [C] to a C, to an F,

[Dm] D minor, [C] to a C, _ [F] B flat, F, and ahaha, here's the trick [A] chord.
It's an A, it's an A7, okay?
It's the Randy Newman chord, is what I like to call it.
So it's A7 [Dm] to D minor, [Bb] to B [C] flat, to an F, to a C, to an F.
_ So that's the verse and the chorus.
The bridge _ is really really simple.
[F] It's just F,
_ _ [Bb] B, B flat, _ _ _ [F] F, _ _ _ [C] to a C, _ _ _ _ [Dm] to a D minor, _ _ _ [Bb]
to a B [C] flat, to an F, to a C, to a [Abm] B flat.
And the second time
through the bridge, we do, when you're playing the five [F] chord, so, do not be [Bb] afraid, his [C] love is strong
enough to save [A] us.
