Oh [Db] boy, you wanna hear [C] that one?
We got a couple more for you, [Gb] thanks for hanging out.
Can I tell you guys a little story about me and L.L. Bean?
I did a little Google search, I see there's an L.L. Bean here.
I'll tell you a story about L.L. Bean.
Back when I was in high school, I bought a tent.
I bought a lot of camping gear, I used to camp a lot when I was a kid.
That was only ten years ago. Wow.
Only ten years ago when I was nineteen, I used to camp a lot.
And so I had this tent, and I used it all the time, and I haven't used it in a while,
and L.L. Bean has a forever return policy.
There's a little story about my narcissism.
So I called L.L. Bean and I said, hey guys, how are you?
And the woman was super nice, she's like, how are you?
I'm like, pretty good.
I've got this tent.
And she's like, oh, fantastic.
And I said, it's starting to come apart.
And she's like, well, when did you buy it?
I was like, 1989.
She goes, well, we have a return policy for that, so sure.
Inside the tent, is there anything that indicates what kind of tent it is?
And I was like, nope.
She's like, well, why don't you just describe it to me?
And I described it, she goes, I'm looking through my notes and it sounds like a D1381 tent.
Yeah, we discontinued those way back, because you're ancient.
And so I said, well, does it still hold up?
She said, send it back.
So I sent it back and she said, we can [Dm] credit you the amount of money that you bought the
tent for in 1989.
I said, that sounds great.
So I sent the tent back.
[E] I got a [A] credit from L.L. Bean.
I was [E] so excited that I went on social media.
I went on my [D] Twitter.
I went on my Instagram, [Db] InstaStory, and I sang the praises [Dm] of L.L. Bean's return [Bb] policy.
And I sang about how [G] cheap I was.
I'm very cheap.
I could have bought a new [Ab] tent, but I thought, well, shit, [N] if they take it back.
So anyway, [Bb] long story longer, [B] I posted this to all my social media [Dm] outlets, very excited about this.
People commented.
It was fun.
Everybody's cheap.
And then about a month and a half later, [F] my wife was like, did you see this?
And forwarded me an email that [Am] says, L.L. Bean [D] stops their forever [N] return policy.
And I like to think I'm a recovering narcissist, right?
[Eb] Growing up, it was me, me, me.
Now I think it's like me and a couple other people.
[E]
But I'm going to be totally straight with you.
When that happened, I had that moment where I was like, oh my God, I [F] ruined this for everyone.
Like I'm [Ab] Drake.
[D] Like I tweeted something and [A] everybody responded.
Everybody just started returning old half [E] eaten shoes.
They're like, these are slippers [F] I got on L.L. Bean [Bb] in 1776, right before the shot
heard around the world.
Can I return it?
The lady's like, yeah, yeah, [A] you can return it.
And then they just were like, forget it.
Matt Nathanson ruined it for everybody.
So I know that's not true, [N] but I just want to let you know my brain works.
[Ab] [Eb] [Eb] [Bb]
[Gm]
If you know this sing along.
Guess I should have known [F] the way you parked your car [G] sideways, it wouldn't [Bb] last.
[N] Hold on.
I got this.
Hold on.
Wait.
This is for Prince because he's the best.
[E]
[B] [Gb] [Abm]
[E] Well, I guess I should have [Ab] known by the way you parked your car sideways [B] that it wouldn't last.
See, you're the kind of person [Gbm] who believes in [Gb] making out [Abm] once, love them [E] and leave them [B] fast.
Well, I guess I must be [Gbm] dumb.
She had a pocket full [Gb] of horses. [Abm] Trojan.
Some of them, [E] you.
It was Saturday night.
[Gb] I guess that makes it all right.
And you [Abm] say, what have I got to lose?
[Gb] Honey, [E] I can't.
[Gb] Little [B] red car.
Maybe you must.
[Abm] You have.
Yes, you [B] are.
Little red car.
They need to find a love [Gb] that's gonna last.
[E] Well, I guess I should have closed [Gb] my eyes when you [Abm] drove me to the place where [E] your
horses run free.
And I felt a little ill [Gb] when I saw all the pictures [Abm] of the jockeys that were there [E] before me.
[B]
Believe it or not, you [Gb] know, I started to worry.
[Abm] I wondered if I had [E] enough.
It was [B] Saturday night.
[Gb] And I guess that makes it all [Abm] right.
And you say, baby, have [Gb] you got enough?
Oh, [B] yeah.
Little red car.
[E] Maybe you must.
[Abm] You have.
Yes, [E] you are.

[Gb] Give me the keys.
[Abm] I'm gonna try [Ab] to tame your [Gb] little red love [E] machine.
[Gb] Little red [B] car.
Baby, [E] you're [Abm] much too fast.
Yes, you [B] are.
Little red car.
They need to find a love [Gb] that's gonna last.
[B] [Gbm] Little red [B] car.
[E] [Gb] Honey, you got [Abm] to slow down.
You got to slow down.
[B] Little red car.
Cause when you [E] dance, you're a little red [Gb] car.
You're going right [B] to the ground.
Right down to the [Gb] ground.
[Abm] Baby, you just got to [B] slow [Gbm] down.
[B] You're moving much [E] too fast.
Too [B] fast.
