My story is about people [Db] in my life who should have loved me and seen [Ab] the best in me.
They always saw the worst in me and spoke those things over me.
I was told that I was ugly, [Bbm] that I was stupid, that I was worthless, that I [Ab] couldn't do anything right.
I always felt like I didn't deserve [Db] to have friends, that there was something wrong with
me, [Eb] and so that's what I came to believe was truth.

[Db] It affected my relationships with people.
My friends would get angry with me [Ab] because if they said nice [Bb] things I would argue with
[Abm] them and [Fm] tell them how those things weren't true.
I [Bbm] just grew up feeling like I wasn't worth anything, that [Fm] I wasn't worth [Db] love, I wasn't
worth friends, I wasn't [Eb] worth it to anybody.

[Db] God's been working with me on my image of myself and trying [Ab] to turn me to see his point
of view instead of the things that I was [Bbm] told when I was younger.

There's nothing I could do to make him love me any less.
