[Em]
[G] I'm Nathan Bull.
I grew up in a little place called [Gm] Stoke Mandeville in Buckinghamshire.
[Em]
I guess music's one of the very few things that never goes out of fashion.
You [D] associate certain songs with certain times of your [G] life.
[Gm]
We're headlining O'Meara, [Em] which is an awesome new venue.
I think it's like 350 people and I thought there'd be about 150 in there and it's just sold out, which is pretty mental.
There are [Gm] gigs now that it's not mates coming in to fill [Bm] a venue because you've begged them to come down.
[G]
I guess that's the turning point now, we're actually filling venues with fans.
[Bm] Who are these people that are coming?
[Am]
[B]
[A]
[Am]
Being in the theatre just [B] totally wipes everything from your [G] head.
[D]
As soon as you take that first stand, it feels like you're just totally present in [Am] that moment.
And that's all you're thinking about.
[B]
[A] You're not worrying about, oh God, I've got to go and write this song or I've got to fill this venue or whatever.
[Am] You're just totally in that moment, which is an [Gm] awesome experience.
[F]
[Gm] You certainly pick up little pockets of [C] inspiration around here and I think they [Dm] stick with you when you're [D#] writing.
[Dm]
Pretty cool, [Gm] isn't it?

Yeah.
Max [Em]
plays [C#m] guitar [E] and he sings a lot as well.
He's amazing.
He's an unbelievably talented musician.
And then Will plays drums.
I've been playing [A] their music with him since I was [E] 13.
He's got an amazing energy and always brings the best out in people.
Billy plays bass and brings so much energy to the band.
It's really awesome to have around.
And I've always wanted a synth in the band.
Odi's played, I think this is his second gig with [A] us.
That added layer that he brings [E] to the sound is just amazing.
[F#] Yeah, a really, [C#] really great group [A] of people to have around.
Billy [C#m] plays songs, just fine in the old game, man.
Old game, man.
Old game, man.
[E] [G]
Kick drumming.
[D#] Playing live.
[Em]
There's so much that could go wrong.
Basically, everything could go wrong.
[D] I think we're prepared enough that [G] hopefully only one or two things will, or hopefully nothing, but we'll see.
We're about to go and play a big old show.
[Em]
Go set some stuff up.
Oh, sorry.
Phil's psyched.
No, come on.
Phil's psyched.
You got emails?
[Gm] No, it's alright.
I've got in there, I've seen the other boys play.
Shit, shit, shit.
[E] [B] Shit, shit, [G] shit.
All [Am] good.
How do we know when to go on?
Are you going to?
I'll come on a bit after you guys make [Gm] some noise.
Go again.

[E] For us, playing live is the greatest [D] thing there is in my life at the moment.
[F#m] You [C#] totally lose yourself [A] up there.
[Dm] You don't really see yourself on this [A] stage in an audience.
[E] You're just so in that moment.
[F#m] [D] It's totally addictive.
I'm still [F#m] dancing like a young [E] girl, dancing to young [F#m] girls.
Take [D] a few.
[F#m] You take a few.
[E] There's not like a stage that I'd [A] reach and be like, right, [D] I'm successful now.
[F#m] There's goals that I want to tick [E] off and I count those [D] as successes.
There's not like a [F#m] level I want to get to and be like, [E] right, I'm successful [D] now.
I think to be able to sustain a life [A] playing music and [F#m] keep touring as a band, [A] I'd count that as a success.
[D] I just gotta [F#m] try and make it last.
