Hey y'all.
A few days ago I did the acoustic part of I'm Out With You or at least a
version of the acoustic part and as it [Cm] turns out [Gb] the person who requested it
really was looking for the [Bb] other guitar [C] part.
Sort of the lead part if there is
such a thing for that one.
So I'm not [N] gonna play through it again but I'll
show you real quick what how that part goes because there's not much to it
really.
[Gm] So it starts off with the [Cm] same you know strumming, [G] same strumming as the
other one.
Then it [Gb] gets into that verse where [C] [F] [E]
[G] that's that sort of repeating
thing that goes through.
So [Gb] what that is is it's sort of like an E shape [Bbm] except
you move it up one fret and up [G] one string each.
[Eb] So you end up with this
[N] which is the E and the A at the third and the D at the second.
So you just kind
of pluck through those going up toward the top so it [E] goes D, these are the
strings, [Cm] D, A, E, A, D, A.
[E] So you're going [C] those just stay right where they are.
[C]
[Bb] The
second part [F] is right [C]
[G] so the second part is [Bb] the D and the A string both at the
[F] third fret.
Starting on the D string, A, [G] A,
[A] open A, [C] back to the third fret [F] on the A,
back to the third fret on the D and then open [D] D and then start [C] over again.
[F]
[C] [F]
[A] [C] [G] So there's
[Bb] that part and then what else is it?
Oh there's this little thing [Gb] that he does
into that little solo section.
So you could [E] do that on any number of strings
but we'll do this [Bb] one because that's we're gonna play the rest of it.
So
that's the G string it [Bm] goes 12, 11, [E] 9.
[Em]
[Cm] That's the whole solo [G] just a couple of
those.
So that's that same shape in fact this time [Gb] it is really like an A shape
on [C] the same string but almost as if you were going to bar the C.
[Em] In fact that's
that's really what [F] it is it's a section of a [B] C chord.
So at the 10th fret you got
the A and the D covered [Gb] and then on the 9th fret the G [Em] so
it's [Cm] so [Gb] it goes almost like NBC.
[G] [C] A G D and then [Bb] whatever [Cm] fingers you're going
to use [Gb] for it.
The second one [Gm] goes, [Em] here's the first one, [Cm] A G D [G] and then A again and
[Bbm] then the G string is [Cm] right so that's [Em] 10 9 on the [Cm] G string and then the D string
at 10.
[F]
[C] I think it just goes through two of those and then it's back to the
[Bb] regular strumming chords.
So that's [Gb] really all there is to it.
