He was telling a story [D#] that just [F#] reached my heart.
I wanted to share it this morning.
He was talking about a [D#m] woman who had gone to a gas station.
She was filling up her car.
She went into the gas station to [G#] pay the bill.
She came back out and got in her car.
When she went to [D#] leave, this guy in a truck jumps in his truck and tries [G#] to cut her off.
She [C#] speeds up and tries to go ahead and get where she's going.
He gets [G#] behind her and honks his horn.
He's yelling at her.
She got afraid.
[Cm] She couldn't reach her phone.
[F#] She didn't know what to do.
She tried to speed up as fast as she could.
He was on her bumper.
She could see him in the mirror.
He was [F#] just yelling and [D#] screaming at her.
He was honking his horn.
She didn't know what else to do but to pull off the interstate.
She pulled off the interstate and went to the gas [F#] station.
A truck followed her.
She got pulled in.
[A#m] She jumped out of her car and ran into the gas station.
She said, call 911.
[G#] _ The guy in the [C#] truck pulls out next to her [D#m] car and jumps out.
[Fm] He opens the back door of her car [F#] and pulls this man out. _
[D#] Who she thought was her enemy [C#] was her savior.
[G#] How many of us have run from [D#] God?
Even as Christians have run from God [C#] thinking he's the one that's causing all of these things in our life.
When in fact, [A#m] he's the one that's trying to save us.
[D#m] And he's [D#] trying to get our attention.
You see, if you just [G#] listen to me, I can change your [C#] life.
Even as Christians.
We think that only those that are [Fm] unsaved need to [F#] hear that word of God's voice.
Calling us to [D#] change.
But no, us as Christians, we can get staled and stagnant [C#] and stuck [G#] into our way of life.
[G#m] And instead of running to God, we run to our televisions and our internet and our friends.
[C#] But God's not the enemy.
He is the Savior.
_ [G#] She didn't know that she could have [C#] been killed that day.
But because that man saw him get into the car while she was in [D#m] the gas station.
Her life was changed and saved.
