First comment down there will take you there.
But let's learn this jam right now.
Here we go.
All right, this is predominantly the E minor pentatonic scale.
_ _ _ [F#] _ _ But there's a blues note [E] in there.
_ _ _ [F] _
And then there's also a couple little half steps.
[E] But you can use the skeleton of the E minor pentatonic.
So we're gonna have our pinky on the 15th fret of the B string as we bend the 14th fret
of the G [G] string. _ _ _
[D] _ _ _ [G] So, bum, _
[D] pow.
_ _ _ Holding that pinky there [B] and then, _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ and we're releasing to the 12th fret.
But you hold that. _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
_ _ [E] _ _ _ _ _ [Gm]
[F#] So _ [G] _ _ _ _ you have your index on the 12, you slide it back to 11.
[F#] _
_ _ [G] Sorry.
_ _ Then middle finger goes back up to the 12. _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [F#] _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ So _
_ _ _ _ [F#] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ then I'm grabbing 14 on the D and I'm using my pinky _ _ [G] back _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [F#] _ _ _
_ [E] _ _ _ _ _ to 11 on the G.
[F#] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ Then 12, [G#] 14 on the D. _
[E] _ _ _ And I'm still [D] using my middle and pinky for those.
_ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ [C#] _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ _ One more time slow. _
_ _ [D] _ _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ [F#] _ _ _ _
_ _ [E] _ _ [F#] _ _ [Bm] _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ _ 12, 14, 12 on the G. _ _ _
Then we're gonna go back to the 14 and bend it up. _
_ [F] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ [C] _
_ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Then 12 on the B followed by 12 on the high E. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [A] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [D] _
And it repeats that a second time. _ _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ [C#] _ _ [E] _
[Em] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ Then we're gonna do a 15, 12 on the B. _ _ _
_ _ [A#] _ _ _ Then we hit that blues note which is 15 on the
[Bm] G.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [B] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ [A#] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _
So the blues note is this 15 on the G.
_ _ _ _ _ _ [A#] _ _
_ _ But then back to [B] 12 on the B.
_ _ _ Then back to
the blues [A#]
note _ which _ is [F#] 15, then 14, _ _ _ then a _ 12 but you bend it up.
[E] _
_ _ And then you grab the 14 of the D.
_ _ [G] _ _ _ [E] _
_ _ _ _ _ Then you grab these [F#m] double stops.
_ _ _ [G#] _
_ _ _ [A] _ So [G#] it's, _ _ _ _ you're covering the 14 of the G and B.
[G] _ Then _ [F#m] the 13 of the G and B.
Then just the
single note 12.
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [A] _
_ _ [G#] _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
[Bm] _ _ _ _ [B] _ _ [A] _ _
_ _ [G#] _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
[D] From the top. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Bm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [B] _ _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ [A] _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _
Now we're bending _ the 14 on the high E _ and _
_ [E] _ kind of _ pulling it [F#] back down. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ And then grabbing the 12 of the B. _ _ _ _ _
[E] Like that.
Then it starts that [F#] same way again.
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
But then you're gonna slide from 15 to 17 _ [Bm] on that high [G] E. _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [B] _ _ _ _ _
So from there we're gonna _ have the middle finger on the [A#m] 15 and the index on the 14 behind [G] it.
_ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [B] _ _ _ _ Hammer [Em] on, pull off, then slide. _ _ _ _ _
And then I'm rolling it over to that 12 of the B. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [F#] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [B] _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _ [B] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [Gm] So finally we go, [B] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ which is 15, 14 on [F#] the high E, _ _ _ 12 on the B.
_ [G] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Em] _ _ _
_ Then a similar thing from the beginning of the solo.
So _ _ _ _ _ _ we're [F#] going 12, [D#] 14, [A] _
_ [G] _ _ 12.
Then a bend, pull back, roll off over to that root.
[E] _ _ _ _ _ [D] _
_ [Em] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
But we're covering that 15 of the B with it.
_ [D] _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
_ Like [Bm] that. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ And then we're almost there!
[G] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [Em] _ _ _ _ _ _
[G] _ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ [G] _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [F#] So we have to bend the 14 of the G, _ _ then 12 B, 12 high E. _
_ [G] _ _ _ _ [B] And then a slow bend on that 15 on the B.
_ [Bm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ [A#] _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _
_ _ _ _ Then a quick little thing that I hear Slash do a lot. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ So we're doing a 12 on the high E, and a quick pull off between 15 and 12 on the B.
_ _ _ _ _ Back to 15, and then the bend up. _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [D] _ _ _ [G] _ _
_ _ _ [C#] _ _ [Em] _ _ _
_ _ _ [G] _ _ _ [A] _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ Then you got the 12, 15 on the B, hammer on, pull off. _
_ _ So let me try it one more time slow. _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _ _ _
[E] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ [B] _ _
_ _ _ [A] _ _ _ _ _
_ [G#] _ _ [G] _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[Bm] _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _
[C#] _ _ _ _ _ _ [E] _ _
So there's another little slide down as the solo is fading [G] out that we can add to it as well.
_ _ _ _ _ _ _ [Bm] _
_ _ [Em] _ _ So we slide down to [F#] the 7, _ _ _ [Em] then 5. _ _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [G] _ Alright there it was!
Thanks again you guys for watching and hopefully you get the solo down.
