What would you say has been so far the most notable show or thing that knocks at home?
This week?
[D] Man, [D#] Pissed Jeans threw pizza boxes at the crowd and then played hockey with their guitars.
[E] That was a very memorable moment last night.
[D]
[F]
[A#]
[A] [A#] [A] [A#m]
[B] [F] Films that have really eclectic [A#] mixes are amazing.
I think it's a shame that festivals seem to be able to get away with it more,
but I wish more shows were like that.
[A#m] We're huge music [E] fans in general.
We [D#m] don't listen to any one type of music or anyone.
[B] So when you are lucky enough to be able to play with a whole bunch [A#m] of different stuff that you're into,
it's great.
I don't see why they don't do it more often.
I guess you can only [D#] hope as a band that you sort of are a gateway [Em] for somebody
[D#] to get into other cool music.
Yeah, I never [A#] really thought about it that way.
But I think it's great when you go, if you go to a show and you go [Dm] for one band
or a couple bands of the same [E] genre and you end up seeing other stuff
and [F] surprisingly you get turned on to other stuff, it's great.
I think that's what shows should [F#] be like.
You're supposed to learn about [A] new music and get excited about new stuff.
So the more the merrier.
When I see air coming through, when I see you, baby, me and you,
when I'm with you, I don't care at all, when I'm with you, baby, I don't know [A] how to get out,
how to [F#] get out, [A] get out, get out, out, out.
[F#] You gotta have a little levity in life.
We're not all that serious about, [G#m] we're serious about what [F#] we do,
but really when it gets to playing, [B]
getting to [F#] the show,
it's kind of the chance where we get to kick [A] back and have a good [A#] time.
I hope it translates, [A] I hope [C#] other people get that from what we're doing.
[A] I think some people see it [F#] as an aggressive [Bm] show, and I get [A] that,
it [F#] makes sense why they would see it that way, but for us it's nothing aggro [A] about it,
it's just fun, it's sort of a release, because we [N] really enjoy what we do
and we enjoy playing together, the three of us.
It's much more about [E] going [B] off and having a really [B] good time.
Hopefully people take it the same way and they see it as an [A#] opportunity to have fun,
rather than get mad at us.
[C] Big [A] Sam!
[C] [A] Big Sam!
[C#] Big [A] Sam!
Big Sam!
No!
No!
[A] [C] [A] No!
[C#] No!
[E] [F#]
[N] It's pretty rare that people just make the wrong move.
As long as people aren't hurting each other, just keep your hands to your side and pogo.
As long as people aren't getting hurt, then it's great.
If someone falls down, pick them up and help them out.
Or if you just want to stand there and do nothing, that's cool too.
Lame, super lame, but fun.
We had one guy in Montreal a couple weeks ago that
[D] headbanged really hard
and hit his head on [A] one of the front monitors.
He cut his eyebrow open and he was bleeding everywhere.
[E] It didn't faze him, he kept going and kept going,
and then the people around [C] him just got further and further away, for good reason.
[A] He was the only guy moving at the show.
Yeah, it was great to see that.
It was terrifying.
[A] Yeah, it was.
Check it out, the crowd, [F] that [N] guy's going crazy.
And then all of a sudden you're like, that guy's bleeding everywhere.
And all of a sudden, he's just [C#] like
[A] [G] [F#]
[A] [G] [C#]
[A] [D] [F#]
[A] [C]
[B] [A#] [F#]
[A] [F#]
[A] [D] [F#]
[A] [C]
[F] It [G#] all just falls [C#] off, when the light comes [F#] on.
[F] Can't [B] feel my legs, I can't feel my legs.
Everybody's [A] gone.
[B] Wasted, [C#] you're wasted.
I can [A] feel the pain.
[G#] We all add up to nothing.
[C#] All over and [E] over again.
[A] [F#] You're [A] wasted.
[F#] You're already [A]
dead.
[B] You're wasted.
[A] [C]
[F] [B] And now there's nothing left.
[C#] I can't bring [A] you down.
[A#m] Y'all [B] hanging from the basement ceiling.
[A] You got your feet on the [F#] ground.
[B] Wasted, [A#] you're wasted.
You feel no pain.
We all add up to [F] nothing, man.
[E] All over and over again.
[C#]
[C] [D#] [Cm]
[D#] I can't take [B] it.
[C] [E] [C] [B]
[D#] I [B] can't take [F#]
[C] it.
[E] [A] Oh [Em] yeah, [D#] bro.
[C] [C#]
[C] [D#] [C]
[D#] [C#]
[D#] [F] [F#m]
[C] [A]
[F]
[C]
[G] [A] [F#]
You're [A] wasted.
[F#]
You're already [A] dead.
[D] [F#]
You're [A] wasted.
[F#]
[B] [F#]
You're [A] wasted.
[F#] You got to, got to, [A] got to.
[C] [F#]
You're [A] wasted.
[F#]
You're [B] already [F] dead.
