Million Dollar Quartet in Studio- Elvis and Johnny Cash pt 2 chords
Start Jamming...
[B] [Eb] [G] [E]
I hear that train comin'
It's pullin' around thin
And I ain't seen the sunshinin' since
I don't know when
[A] I'm stuck in Folsom Prison
Every time you [E] try to get lost
[B] But that train keeps a-roosin'
All down the [E] sand and low
When I was just a baby
My mama saw my son
What's he saying, John?
Always be a good boy
Don't ever play with guns
[A] So I shot him in the rear
Just to watch [E] him die
And I'll never stop
[B] When I hear that whistle blow
I think I [E] hear that train
Well, if it breathes from that prison
If that rail train was mine
After I move it on
Little Parker John's mine
[A] Martin Folsom Prison
That's where I lost [E] my baby
And [B] I left that house in the bush
Oh, I'm gonna be [E] there anyway
[Em] [B] [G] [E]
[B] [Eb]
[Bb] [Db] [Bb]
[Ebm] So you're gonna head back?
[Gb] [Eb]
[B] [D]
[F] [Gb] [Eb] [Abm]
[N]
Branch out, do some more
I'll never forget where I came from
Or anything like that
I just wanna see what happens, you know
So, my view
I think anybody, you know
Put your mind to it, you can do anything you want
That's right, and David, what about you?
Well, I'm gonna, I'm working on some songs
And, you know, I came out
Prior to this, I was doing some sales
For an outdoors company
And I do some private tutoring Wow
And I do some consulting
So I've had kind of an eclectic
Very, you know, entrepreneurial background
And you went to a theological seminary
Yeah, I went to Fuller Seminary
Yeah, that's why I moved out to L.A.
I went out to Pasadena
I have a master's degree in studies
So you actually, I mean, there's a tie there
And some roots to Johnny's love of pop music as well
Yeah, I mean, he was really anchored in his life
And that's one of the parts that I love exploring
And learning more about him
Now he gets to be part of a job
You know, he was always, you know, beyond his songwriting
And his life story, and he was always anchored in his faith
And I relate to that just a little bit Yeah
Well, I'm so [Eb] impressed
I don't want this jam session to [F] end, Ken
I know, this is history
I know you have to, they [Eb] have to go, right?
December [Dm] 5th 2012 [B] Can you?
Can you break out and do one more for the kiddie jam session?
Yeah, [A] maybe a little
[N]
Hmm
We'll find out, [A] alright
[D]
[E]
[A]
Often told me to
Son, I got you through
And I wish it ain't no [D] good for you That's alright
Oh, that's alright
Well, that's [E] alright Now, mama
Anyway [A] you do Woo!
[N] Okay, one last thing
What about that D-Pack?
Is it not beautiful?
And the people who run that place?
Beautiful
Yeah, [F] it's gorgeous
Yeah, and you know, it's such a big hall
What's the hall, 27?
[N] 2700 Right there
And, but it's, you know, you're up there, the sound feels warm
The sight lines are great
Really fun Yeah
The houses, we love the sound
Yeah, and everybody's so receptive and warm
We love you down here in the South
We love the sound now [F] We do
Well, I'll be back to see it Thank you
I'm gonna find another night to come
