They're [Eb] being compared to the Osmoos and the Jackson 5.
They hail from Victoria, British Columbia.
These four brothers, known to audiences across North America as the Moffat's, show a depth
of talent and professionalism that is far, far beyond their years.
They've just released this, their self-titled album, and they're with us today to perform
their hit song, I Think She Likes Me.
Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome the Moffat's.
[Cm]
[C] I think she likes me
And I know I [Am] like her
It's kind of frightening
Yeah, it's too soon to be [F] sure
I think she likes [G] me
Maybe even might [C] be love
Should I be patient
Or should I ask her [Am] straight out
That's my big evening
Don't need too much room [F] for doubt
I think she likes [G] me
Maybe even might [C] be love
[G] Our first kiss
[Em] Said more [F] than goodnight
[C] I bet I'd be leaving [F] without her
I [G] can't predict [Am] what the future is [F] gonna bring
[Dm] But those looks that [C] she's been giving me
[F] Yeah, they only mean one [C] thing
I think she likes me
I think [A] she might be [Am] the one
And more than likely
The rest is still yet [F] to come
I think she likes [G] me
Maybe [F] even might [Am] be love
Our [F]
[Dm] [C] [F]
[G] first kiss
[Am] Said more than goodnight
[C] I bet I'd be leaving [F] without her
[G] I can't predict [Am] what the future is [F] gonna bring
[D] But those looks that [C] she's been giving me
Yeah, they only mean one [D] thing
I think she likes me
And I know I [Bm] like her
It's kind of frightening
But it's too soon to [G] be sure
I think she likes [A] me
Maybe even might [D] be love
It [Bm] might be love
I think that [D] girl might like me
I [Bm] hope it's true
[D]
I think she [N] likes me
I think she likes me
You guys are pretty amazing.
I would like you to meet, this is Scott, this is Bob, and this is Dave, and this is Clint.
Yes, this is, um, Scott is 12 and the rest of us are 11 and these two are identical triplets
and you're sort of the fraternal triplet.
You guys are amazing.
Who sang first when they were four years old
at [B] pick up a mic apparently somewhere with their mom?
It was actually Dave.
Was you?
Yes, was.
And you sang that, what song was it?
Somewhere out there from [Eb] American Tale.
And then they found out the rest of you could sing?
Yeah, that was when we, uh, when [Dbm] we wanted to do, uh, make a, uh, Christmas gift for our grandpa.
So we [Bm] decided to get together and sing a song called Grandpa by the Judge.
And we went to the recording studio and, um.
That was in the middle of a mall, it was a booth and the sound went out to the mall.
In the Edmonton, uh, West Edmonton Mall.
By the time you finished singing.
We, we looked out the window because we weren't looking out, we were just [D] concentrating on the words
and there's a lot of people pressed against glass and because they're.
Who are those kids, who are those kids?
Gee, two of [Eb] them look alike, look at that.
[Eb] And you've been traveling on the road ever since.
There's some [Bm] water right behind that, uh, picture
right there, Scott.
Just a blue mug right there.
So what are you going to be, let's see, in 10, 20 years
you want to be what?
On the road.
I want to be on the road or playing, or playing drums in a, in a studio for other groups.
And I like to be, uh, sticking [B] together.
Singing still?
Stick together, yeah.
Yeah, I want to be on the road a lot more and just stick to do what we're doing right now.
Do you play instruments besides sing?
Yeah, I play drums.
Drums.
I play keyboards, I play bass and I play guitar.
Jeez, [G] okay, let's see, I play a little bit of piano and guitar and I sing a little [B] bit.
I don't, I don't know, I don't think you want me in your group.
[Bm] So you've done a lot of shows, you've traveled, uh, you've kind of been on the road, you're getting
homeschooled.
Right, yeah.
That's amazing.
So how's the homeschooling going?
Are we all in the same grade together now, the three?
Uh, three or another in the same grade.
Which one?
Six, six.
Sixth, okay, and you're traveling all over Canada and the U.S. now?
Yes.
Sometimes we make predictions on the show, you know, and we're usually right.
[Ab] [E] You guys are going to be really, really famous.
Thank you.
[N] Amazingly so, big time.
Clint Black was on the show, do you know who Clint Black is?
He said the best piece of advice anybody ever gave him when he was a kid was all his hometown
knew he was going to be really, really famous and they said, it's okay to be really famous,
but remember, don't be a jerk.
You know, actually they said another word, but I wouldn't say it on television.
So you guys, you're from Victoria, B.C.,. everybody out there is so proud of you guys, so go represent Canada, be really famous, okay? And like, show the world how amazing you are. Thank you. Right now you're going to show the world this other thing you do, what's it called? The caterpillar [Eb] crawl. And who invented this, [E] created this? We did with our friend Melanie Greenwood. We [B] choreographed Achy Bakey Heart the Lion Dance [Bm] for Billy Ray Cyrus. Excuse me, well, you guys are a pretty flashy company, [B] huh? So how does this thing go? Do we need music or can we do it like without or? Yeah, we can do it without. We can do it without. You got a frog? [N] Have some more water. No, I [E] just got a little. A little thing in your throat? They call it a frog, ever had a frog in your throat? You do a lot more than, eh, eh, wouldn't you? [G] Okay, what are we doing? I don't know what to do. Okay, well, just stand like this and just. Okay, I'll stand at the back. Okay. Because you know what you're doing. Okay. You're going to be in the front a little ways after [Eb] this, okay? I'm going to be in the front? All right, yeah. Fine. [E] Do we need [Bm] music or are we just going to do it? No, we're just going to do it. Okay, go guys. [E] Well, all the worms are ganging up [N] down at the town hall, all working on plans for their annual ball. Oh, hi. They've got all the bad apples that money can buy, but one last thing before we call them butterflies. Ring a clock. Well, it's a caterpillar call. Yeah, it's a caterpillar call. They've got fat ones, few [Gb] and short ones and tall. They all come to do the caterpillar call. Bubbles from Victoria, BC going to do the caterpillar crawl across North America and be internationally famous. Yes, [Ab] let's hear it for them. [N]
