[G] [C] [N] Hi, I'm Mir Jyoti and welcome back to the MJ show with Monali Thakur.
If you've not caught part 1 and 2, what are you doing?
Go see that first and then we'll talk and then check out what I'm going to be talking about right now.
So, we kind of ended off part 2 with a fantastic, you know, classical piece that you'd learn from your Guruji
and you were telling me that, you know, this is what you wanted to show Amit, Amitrivedi.
And also the rest of the people.
But then, so yes, I met Amit and I played my Guruji's songs and I
said that, see this is, I even sang some Lataji songs, saying that, you know, I am comfortable
with Indian melodies.
Okay, and this is how I sing the Indian melodies.
So, I want to sing some
beautiful songs that I will feel amazingly happy about instead of just making the rest of the world
happy with whatever little I sang by then.
So, Amit then, being a sweetheart, he immediately
said that, there's one song I was thinking what to do but I think I can put a Thumri thing in it,
let's try it out.
So, that was Agabai.
So, Shalmali had already sung and then I met Amit and then he
said that, can you do some Thumri thing here and all that.
So, he gave me the thing again.
So, like in a very raunchy way but like full.
Something like that.
So,
he said, let's see.
So, I said okay.
So, sang it, done.
And also the, whatever the rest of the,
Allah maja rahe hai, that happening.
So, that's why I sang Agabai and then Honey Bunny we sang.
He said, it's sounding nice.
Yeah, that's what he said.
I hope so.
I'm a singer, it's supposed to
sound nice.
Then he was, so when I requested him to give me a good song, it was in his head and
I remember, worldly ceiling pe hum baith ke, we went there to just chill, you know,
kaam ke baad dekhe baith ke, hum sab aise, he wanted to talk to me about Savar Lu.
Okay.
And we anyhow used to hang out and that's when he said, there's this song,
Ice cream khaate khaate, I remember.
He's like, song, I think, tu accha gayegi.
Maine kaha, really?
It's in that Lata ji SD Burman zone, that kind of, you know, it's a beautiful
album.
I said, really?
So excited.
I was like so happy and then he gave the song, the melody.
I was
like, this is such a beautiful melody.
It was, mori mori ki jai kori.
It used to be like, mori mori
matla maru maru main kya karu.
I am so much in love, you know, like that.
Oh wow.
Okay.
So can
I hear you sing a bit of that?
Nahi hai aaj zindagi ki chal sara, isi bahan kyu na main bhi dil ka hal sara.
Savar lu,
savar lu, savar lu, hai savar lu.
Beautiful, beautiful stuff.
I also want you to sing a
little bit of Agrabahi because it's such a very cute, okay, cute is the wrong word to use here.
That's not cute.
Yeah, if you see the video, cute is not the word that comes to your mind.
By the way, they made me, I told them, main kyu, kyu, main hi kyu, ki mujhe, aya, aya, aya.
Why me only?
So that's the song, by the way.
Little bit of that, please.
