and we got to meet so many awesome men and women who sacrificed [G] a lot out of their everyday life

And it's just always amazed us how folks we don't even know are willing to stand in our place and fight for us.
And there were a few times where our dad was deployed and we were always so excited when he came home,
but we know that not everybody was that lucky and this next song reminds us of the folks that didn't get to come home.
