The current lineup in a Perfect Circle, is this based on friendships?
Or was the idea to create what has become a supergroup?

I met Josh at [E] a party and they were looking [N] for a bass player.
And _ I was looking to do stuff, so I ended up joining.
[G] We needed a guitar player, we literally couldn't [Ab] find one.
And James was one of [Em] the first people we thought of.
And [Ab] Billy emailed him and he was into it.
It just sort of evolved [N] into this.
It wasn't planned out to be that way, but I guess it has made it that way.
_ So when you're in a real band, that gets paid to make music,
it works just kind of like you're in your first band, kind of casual.
You meet people, hey, this guy might be cool, let's bring him in.
_ [Am] Yeah, I think that seeing that James and Maynard and I have played and _ toured
and done a bunch of stuff. _
_ I mean, [D] Billy and Maynard [Ab] and I, we just knew Jordy.
Billy and Maynard both had known Jordy from before.
And [N] we all knew James from when we toured on Somersault, _ two, three years ago.
So yeah, we didn't set out to go find famous guys from famous [E] bands.
We thought of [Bb]
bass players and guitar [N] players,
and they're just kind of peers and people that we knew. _
_ This CD right here is copy controlled.
What does that mean?
It means that _ there's some new technology on it,
so you won't be able to burn it or rip it.
That's debatable on its own.
I wanted to know if the band was involved in that decision.
