It's been an honor to do a video for Muse.
I've been a fan of Muse [Fm] since I was a kid.
I saw them play [F] when I was 16.
They have such a great [C] legacy of music videos,
and to be here on set is really surreal [G] for me.
And for me to kind of bring my personal dreams
and my personal [F] inspiration to their song
and bringing this video to [C] life with you
has been like _ really_ Badass.
Yeah, it's been [G] really badass.
Really badass.
And when I heard the song,
I knew I wanted to do like an action-packed narrative.
We've basically shot an action movie in two days.
[F] And we're finishing the day off today
with this crazy fight scene.
We have a row of stunt guys,
and [G] Lauren's stunt double was Wonder Woman's stunt double
in the new Wonder Woman [F] film.
So we're in great company tonight. _ _ _
[C] _ _ _ _ _ I'm here [G] because _ this story for the video
is just so freaking awesome and so [F] inspiring,
and you don't see someone like myself
in action [C]-packed films or anything.
_ Just [G] the whole idea behind this video is so_
It just [F] _ ignites everything that I've worked for
and why I'm even living.
[C] I had heard about Lauren _ probably a [G] year ago
I read about her story,
and it was a very traumatic time in my life
when I read about her story,
and she gave me personal [D] inspiration and hope.
And I had always kept her in mind,
wanting to shoot with her.
And _ [G] _
this song came up,
and the power of the [F] song,
I just thought of Lauren,
[F] and I wrote this story about [C] Lauren
kind of based almost off [G] of her own story,
how she had to overcome so many odds
and [C] through what she's gone through,
she's lit a flame.
She is a spark for [D] me.
