So there's a comment on my previous video that somebody was saying, oh Kiko's using a giant pick.
Let me talk about my guitar pick.
That's what I use.
This one here.
So it's a pretty standard guitar pick, like extra heavy, 1.14 millimeters.
Ibanez makes them for me.
I think when people think that I'm using a giant pick or like a bigger pick,
it's just because the way I hold the pick.
So back in the day when I was a teenager, I was holding the pick like this because I was trying to play parallel to the strings with this kind of sound.
[Dm]
Or I could incline like 45 degrees kind of thing.
So I have a different sound.
[E] It's a cleaner sound when you play parallel.
[Dm]
[Gm] But this sound also when you play a 45 degree angle, it's a cool sound as well, mainly when you play [C#] riffs.
It's
[E]
[Bm]
pretty subtle, but you can hear the difference, right?
So basically what I'm doing is I have parallel to the strings or I have this angle.
OK, so that's why I hold like this.
That's the way I play.
So the guitar [A] pick looks pretty big.
But then you're going to ask me, do you drop your guitar pick?
And actually it doesn't happen.
But sometimes what I have to do is I have to hold the pick with this finger like this.
Mainly if I'm doing like some pedaling, like fast riffs and then for a long, you know, like maybe for [E] a minute or something.
[N] So I have this other finger here just like holding the pick.
So it looks kind of awkward, I guess.
Right.
But that's the way I use.
But actually, I just remembered that I have a giant guitar pick.
This is a giant guitar pick.
This is a this was a present from Bloodstock Open Air Festival 2017.
As you can see, this is a giant guitar pick.
So I'm going to try to use it.
I never tried, but first I have to open it.
Beautiful, shiny, beautiful.
All right, so let's see.

[F] [B] [E]
[F] [F#]
