Start Jamming...
All right, man, let's talk about your guitars what you got going on here today.
All right.
Well we got the
Fine assortment of Paul Reed Smith's [D] as you can see from my electric guitars.
Very nice.
And [Ab] we'll start with the main one.
This is the the
245 the sc245 which is actually a scaled down
Version of the of the 250 single cut.
Gotcha.
And yeah, this is this is my main workhorse.
It really
It's just got something something special in some guitars just kind of
Sit real nice in a mix and this is definitely [Bm] definitely for altar bridge.
This is the one
This is the mule [A] as I like to call it.
This is [B] actually a
[Eb] [Abm] McCarty but I got the government you'll see there you go
[N] But yeah, this is this is actually the in the drop B, okay
[G] Sure another custom [Bm] another Seymour Duncan custom custom with
Tone probe bridge.
Actually, they all got to improve tone for [Ab] bridges on them.
They resonate real nicely
Awesome, real nice.
This one's taking a little beating.
Yeah
How does all that come about?
Oh, you know fun.
Yeah, just you know, yeah rock and roll.
Yeah.
All right
[Cm]
PRS Mira, okay, and this [B] is
It's just a great and this is all stock
I believe got a tone [Ab] pro in here as well, but the [B] pickups are stock
And it's just a great straight-up rock and roll [Abm] guitar.
You gotcha kind of in the family of like
SG's juniors things like that.
It's just got a real tight
mid-range, yeah real fruity [Ab] and
It's actually 24 [G] frets.
Oh nice, which bonus.
[N] Yeah.
Yeah, I'm getting used to that
Sometimes I'll be I'll be off by a step.
I'll be not looking that's
Because my my hand hasn't gotten used to the right I'm the same way when I go to a 22 fret guitar
I'm like, oh, I'm on the wrong spot.
Did you ever remember the washburn with like?
Yeah, those were pretty useless.
If you turned your pinky nails sideways, you could maybe use it, right?
But yeah, that's yeah
They're so close.
It's not even I know I mean when it first came out
I Was like
[B] Grand Control, which can which is the which basically I switched my
My my effects in the rack and which actually don't use many of anymore, but it's actually I'm using it switch channels
Yeah
So that's the ground control and then over here we have the
[Bm]
Pedalboard
The boss tuner which is great as you can see it in the dark
very simple [B] just integrated this super octave in there for the beginning [Bm] of
slip to the void just
[G] In the studio, I believe we tuned down to C
And I just don't have any guitars that for the time being that I did that
So I went ahead and just use that and kick it [B] in
That
Got a old full-tone collide pedals is one of the first ones about this back in the mid 90s nice
They're great sounding
Another full-tone [Ab] as you tell I like full-tone Deja Vi which this is actually marks, which I [B] adopted
Borrowed permanently exactly.
Yeah, and then the full-tone ultimate octave which another pedal I've had since the mid 90s
Got that Hendrix II thing going [N] so this is the
[Bm]
I've kind of stripped it down recently
[B]
finding that the Herbert is is
Sitting [Ab] really well with [B] with mark sound and that's been the challenge in this band
It's running something that doesn't walk on his sound and fills up the other frequencies and recently we were in
Germany and Peter from diesel
Offered a swing by and every tubing and just take a look at it
Cuz this is I got a few years ago.
I hadn't had service or anything.
So he spent an afternoon just
Sure, I do think it was amazing what a difference it made.
I mean he was it was sounded like a brand-new so
[Eb] Take note of those settings
[Abm]
[G] [B]
