_ [Em] _ _ [Ab] Hey, what's going on?
I'll play you a little bit of this song [Gm] and I'll teach it to you
right afterwards.
_ _ _ [Bb] _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ [Gm] _ _ _ [Bb] _
_ _ [Bb] _ _ _ _ _ _
Good.
Alright, some cool kind of finger picking stuff [G] going on.
I'll
teach you the whole song.
Let's zoom in and talk about these chords to start [Bb] with.
So
I'm keeping on the 3rd fret, E minor, 2nd fret, 5th string, 4th string, these guys are
on the 3rd fret, 1st and 2nd string.
They remain through the whole thing.
E minor, C,
4th string, 5th string.
It's a C and 9 versus my C.
G, 5th string, 6th string.
[F] D on that
2nd fret, 3rd string.
It's a Dsus4, so you go to the bottom 4.
[Cm] Then [Bb] we'll also need,
I don't know if I can write E minor, E minor, 2nd fret, 5th string, 4th string.
We'll also
need a D just real quickly.
5th string, and these guys are on the 4th fret, 4th string,
and [D] 3rd string.
Then I'm hitting those 3. _
[Gm] Alright, so [Cm] let's start with the picking pattern.
[Gm] _ _
[C] So for E minor, I'm playing the 6th string and then I'm playing [F] the 2nd and 3rd string.
[Gm] _
_ _ [Bb] _ And then there's that little [Gb] hammer on thing.
So I play [F] that open 4th [Bb] string, _ then I hammer
on with that finger, [Bbm]
and then play those bottom [D] 2.
So all together.
[Gm] _ _ _ [Bb] _
[F] Alright, I have a C.
Same
kind of thing, but now I'm on the 5th string and [Eb] 2nd and 3rd.
_ Hammer [F] on from this one.
_ _ _ _ [Eb] _ _ _
[F] _ [Bb] Good, G.
_ _ Using the same idea where I'm going 6, 2 and 3, and then 5.
_ [D] And then [Bb] hammering
on with that finger.
It's a little tricky to get used to. _ _ _ _ _
_ _ _ _ Okay, so [Gm] that's kind of what's
going on.
So let's start from the beginning.
It goes E minor, _ [Bb] C, _ _ [Bb] _ _ _ _ _
[Gm] E minor, _ C, _ [Bb] G.
_ _ _ _ [Gm] E minor, promise that one day I'll [Eb] see.
Run on, keep you safe, [Bb] I'll keep you safe.
G sound. _ _ _
E minor, [Gm] now it's pretty crazy.
C, [Eb] don't know how to stop, I'll slow the [Bb] G down.
_ _ _ C, [Ebm] hey. _
Know there are some things we [Gm] need to talk about. _
_ C, [Eb] stay.
_ Let me hold [C] it for a little
bit [F] longer now.
G, [Bb] take a piece of my [Eb] C heart.
Make it all G on.
When [F] we all depart.
[D] B, never
be.
Then I'm [N] just going for that B, hitting the 5 and [Dm] 3 and 4.
Never be [Gm] E minor, _ [Bb] C.
Never
be [Bb] G alone. _ _ _
[Gm] E minor, _ [Eb] C.
G.
[Bb] _
_ _ _ _ Let's do that [Em] chorus one more time.
[Bb] Start from G.
Take a piece
of [C] my C heart.
Make it all your [Bb] G on.
When we all [F] depart.
B, never be [Gm] E minor. _
[Bb] C, never
be G alone. _ _ _
Good.
So those are the parts of the song.
All the [C] instrumentals are E minor
to C to [N] G just like the intro.
Second verse is the same as the first.
And that's how to
play.
Hope it helped.
Thanks for watching.
See ya.
