Well, let's talk about the new single, There's A Way.
Well, we tracked this record last winter, February 2009.
And shortly after that, just got an email from one of the people involved at the Toronto Mass Choir.
And then fast forward a few months, in the spring, the last song to be written for the
new album was There's A Way.
[N] And once we had, or Joel was writing that song, I know in the back of his mind, we knew
that the choir was coming at some point to do this Jamaican praise medley.
And it was like, wow, wouldn't it be nice to have the choir on this song, [D] which was
more of a ballad.
By the summer, when we were coming [A] into the studio, we asked Karen again, would you be
interested in doing another song with us?
[F#] And it really, the song was just [B] begging for that.
