[C] [F] Hello [G] [Am] [C]
everyone, this is the Lead Guitar Tutorial for No One Higher by Northpoint.
[G] Today I'm [C] using my Reverend 6-Gun, going into my pedalboard, and then into a Jackson Scarlett 30.
Today I'm using one side [G] of a Visual Sound Double Treble, [C] I'm using a Mojo Hand FX Roke
Overdrive, which is an amazing overdrive, and I'm using a Visual Sound Single [A] Tap Delay.
We are [C] at 72 beats per minute, and I'm on eighth notes.
[G] So there's not really [C] a lot of guitars up until about maybe two and a half minutes into the song.
Everything [G] before that is just swells, so you can make it really ambient.
But the first time that we come in is the end of the [C] verse, and then we do the pre-chorus
and the chorus.
So the verse is,
You are always with us, gracious, forgive us, and then it goes into,
Lord we stand amazed, and then the chorus [Am] is,
There is no [C] one higher than our God.
So we'll [G] do all three of those in [Am] succession.
[A] They're three sort of [G] completely different [C] lines, right after each other, [G] so I'll split
them up [C] to make it a little bit easier for you to practice.
But here are those three parts, one right after each other.

[F] [C] So next we have sort of the end of the song, the [G] big bridge [C] with the build-ups and everything.
This is like the coolest part of the song.
There's one very obvious lead line in it that I'll [G] teach you.
I'm also going to [C] split the bridge up into three different [Am] parts.
So you have the building bridge, you have the full band bridge, then you have that little
[G] breakdown bridge that they [C] do, and then it ends with another building bridge.
[G] So I'll play [C] the line for each of those three different sections of the bridge right after each other.
They're not insanely different, but [C] they're just different enough to warrant me splitting them up.
So here is the bridge.

So technically if you want to, you can go ahead and end the tutorial right here.
[G] [C] You have all the lead lines that you need for the whole song.
But there is another guitar part happening during that [G] bridge that's really buried in
the [C] mix that's really just more [Am] about harmony [C] than anything.
So [G] maybe if you're into [Am] live looping or you have [A] three guitars, [C] then maybe you could learn
this lead line, mix and [G] match parts.
[C] I don't know.
You can do [F] whatever you want.
[C] But here's the lead line that's happening during this bridge.
I'm going to again split it up into the three sections, building, full, and the breakdown bridge.
And [G] here's that part.

Thank you so much for [Am] watching.
