What up everybody?
It's a Monday morning and it's cold but we're about to do this tutorial.
Um, so what I was just playing, if you don't know it, you need to know it.
It's uh, Come All Ye Faithful.
O Come Let Us Adore Him.
Most people just know it by [Bb] that name.
O Come [A] Let Us [Abm] Adore Him.
That's probably the [A] real name of it though.
So, uh, we're in the key of A flat.
So the [Ab] 1 would be A flat.
2 [Bb] is B flat.
[C] 3 is C.
4 [Db] is C sharp.
The [Eb] 5 is E flat.
6 [Fm] is F.
And then the [G] 7 would be G.
And then the [Ab] 1.
[Db] [Ab] Okay, so with hymns, what you need to know is that the melody is the king of the song.
So, I mean, if we played it kind of like, if we played it kind of like this, uh,
[Bb] [Eb]
[Db] [Eb] [F] [Bbm] [Eb] [Fm] [Eb] [Fm]
uh, you [Ab] really want to make sure that the melody is really pronounced.
So, [Db] you [Fm] hear [Eb] [Ab] [Bbm] [Ab] [D]
[Eb] [Fm] that?
So, you don't want to just play the song without the melody because that's what people want to hear.
So, um.
[F] [Bb] [F]
