My name is Anna Ludovic and I play classical guitar.
[B] [C#m] I like actually coffee.
Yeah, coffee was always my favorite.
[C#m]
[D] It's a [F#] tough question.
There's a lot of favorite points that I have.
[Am] I feel like I'm
[G] melancholic and sad.
[F#m] [A] I mean, there's never been [D] really a lead favorite.
There's a lot of questions that
[E] guitarists [F#m] talk among themselves, [Am] such as [A] length of the [C] nails.
We play with our nails, so that's always [Dm] an ongoing question.
It's kind of a [F#] question that I think everybody has to find for themselves.
[E] So you have to [D] experiment a lot with the sounds and you [F#m] kind of really [E] find your own unique
[F#] sound and the length of your nail and [G] so on and so [D#] on.
Or sometimes they [F] see a guitar and they [B] ask me, do you sing?
And I'm a [F#] terrible singer, so I don't sing at all.
But that's a very common question, because you think that with the guitar you would be
singing as well.
[C#m] [F#] Just meeting a lot of new people, [C#m]
[E] you never know what kind of situation [C#m] you're going to
be in, who [D] you're going to meet.
[E] It's a tough profession, as we know, and you have to sacrifice a lot.
[A] It's not an easy profession to do, but I think there's a lot of great sides to it.
[D] [A#] Just [Dm] live your life through music.
I think [G] being able to express your [A] feelings to the audience [Cm] through your instrument, [Gm] it's
a great thing.
It's very, very rewarding [D] when you're able to do that.
So I love that feeling of just [Dm] being on stage [A] and sharing the music with people.
[F#]
It's a very kind of a lonely job.
[B] You spend a lot of time by yourself, because we practice and we're by ourselves.
We travel, we're [F#] often by ourselves.
You're in a hotel room by yourself.
There is always a lot of people around, but [E]
at the end of the [B] day you're on your own.
[C#m] So I think it's sometimes kind of tough.
[D] [E]
But traveling can be pretty tough and exhausting.
Waiting for the airplanes [G] and getting [A] the stop log and [F#] missed flights.
But there's a lot of great things.
I think every [E] job has good things in that sense.
[F#] [Am] I like spring and fall.
[C] It has really evolved a [E] lot.
I [A] think classical guitar is really on a very, very high level.
[D] There's a lot of [A] young talent coming from all over the world.
[C#m]
Europe, a lot of talent from [D] Asia.
[A] So [F#] it's just great to see that classical, [G] speaking about classical guitar in general,
that it's really evolving.
[Gm] I think people are [A] recognizing the beauty of classical guitar.
[Gm] It's becoming more and more popular.
[C] Not that other styles [F] of guitar
[C] There's a lot of different styles and they're all [F] great.
But I think for me [A] personally I like to [D] see [A] more young people going to classical.
[C#m] You
[Bm] [A] [Dm] call it?
Is [F#m] that a cocktail?
Yeah, I [B] like
What are they like?
Mojitos?
It's not a cocktail.
Is it [C#] a cocktail?
Yeah.
[D]
[F#m]
And where are we going?
[Cm] That's what [G#] I like to do.
[C#m] Pasta, sushi, hamburger.
[Bm] [B] I always wanted to [E] be an ice skater.
[F#] When [D] I was a little girl [A] I used to watch all those beautiful [E] ice skaters.
[C#m]
And [G] I always [A] wanted to do that.
[D] But I'm so clumsy and I don't know how I [F#] would do it in an [A] ice skating rink.
