Chords for On the Third Day

The three-day story is found in Luke 23 and 24 chapters and the 20th chapter of Saint John.
On the first day Jesus was crucified, bled and died, [Gm] hung on the cross from the sixth to the
ninth [Dm] hour.
As the sabbath drew on, two [Gm] rich men, Nicodemus and Joseph of Arimathea, [Dm]
begged the body
of Jesus.
[Gm] They took him down from the cross and [Cm] put him in Joseph's borrowed tomb.
[F] Why a borrowed
tomb?
He knew he would only [Bbm] need it for [Am] three days.
On the second [D] day those precious hands
that [Dm] touch blind eyes to see, [Gm] those precious hands that healed the sick [Dm] are now folded on his breath.
Those precious [Gm] lips that spoke words of life are [Dm] now hushed.
This same Jesus that laid in [Gm] the tomb
is the same Jesus that [Cm] created the heaven and the earth and man in [F] six days and rested for seven
[A] Now that he redeemed the man that he made, he rested him.
He is just keeping the [Dm] sabbath lay home.
_ [Gm] Three long [Dm] days, _ [Gm] delayed in the grave, [Cm] _
_ [D] when they were many means, [Cm] they didn't believe that [Eb] Jesus
[C] ever lived again.
[Eb] On the third [Cm]
day [Eb] he stepped out [D] from the grave [Gm] and said all power _ [F] is in my [G] hand.
All [Gm] power [F] is in _
[Bb] my hand.

_ [Gm] Three long _ [Dm] days, _ [Gm] delayed in the [Cm] grave, _ when [F] they were many means,
[Cm] they didn't believe that Jesus would [F] ever live again.
[Eb] On the third _ [Cm] day _ [Eb] he stepped out from [D] the grave
and [Gm] said all power [F] is in [G] my hand.
All [Gm]
power is [F] in [Bb] my hand. _

What an 18th
Jesus [Eb] said I am the living [Em]
and the dead [Gm] and behold [F] I am alive [Bb] forever.
He's [Eb] still there.
I have the [D] keys of the grave and of death.
[Gm] The good shall rule.

[D] _ _ [Gm] If you don't believe [Fm] you ought to go down to the hospital.
_ [Eb] And look at those who [D] are out of bed or a switch in the night.
[Gm] Every time they [Fm] move somebody got to be there to tell [Eb] them all about it.
The doctor [D] will give them love to die.
The [Gm] Lord he could.
But when Jesus [F] shall be in their heel.
