[Gb] In the 80s I tracked down a bunch of ADA [Db] flangers and also the Ibanez [Eb] Swell flanger and they
both got the closest [Ab] to getting that crazy side of it.
But they also sounded really good as a normal flanger, but to me I was always reaching down
I wanted both sounds, I wanted the sane and I wanted the insane and I couldn't get it
without having to reach down and tweak the pedal and you don't have time to do that while you're playing.
So the simplest thing was just to get a great sounding flanger that would [E] go over the top
like that and I could switch between it with a foot switch.
[Gb] [Dbm]
Because I've been in the science [Abm] lab we've been able to tweak [Eb] some other stuff, I've
always liked flangers [Abm] that don't have a real even swoop [E] to them or sweep or whatever the
what do you call that, the way the flange [Ab] moves.
I like sort of an unpredictable [Dbm] pattern, you know when it goes woo woo woo [Abm] woo woo woo
[A] and so we worked hard [Gb] to make this organic like that, it's not [Dbm] real predictable, it's
[E] more earthy than your standard flanger will be.
There's the sort of normal flange [G] section which will give you a chorus-y [D] flanging sound.
[G]
[D]
[N] And there's this one which switches you into crazy mode over here.
That is [Ab] awesome, I love that.
It's reaching down into my flange-y soul.
So I'm liking this very much, I can't wait to see it stuffed into a professional looking
box and [Abm] I can't wait to stomp on this guy.
[Eb]
This thing is awesome.
[E]
[Gbm] I [Dbm] love it, I love it.
[Eb] [Cm] This looks really [Bb] good.
Wow, that's awesome.
[Eb] [Ab] [Eb] All my flanging dreams have come true today with the [Bb] Airplane Flanger, [Eb] the AF2 [C] and [Eb] the
[Bb] knobs feel great.
It's got a big giant knob for the [Eb] takeoff.
Oh, I have a feeling it's going [Bb] to sound as good as it looks.
[Dbm]
Awesome, let's plug her [Eb] in.

[A]
That is [E] wild.
[A] [E] One of my main tests for any pedal [Ab] is how [Gb] long I want to play and how well I play when
I plug into [Db] one.
Sometimes I'll plug into a pedal and I'm just not playing that well.
[E] On this one, I'm kind of happy with the way I [G] sound.
[Db]
[G] [A]
[E] [A]
Well, [Gb]
this is obviously a box I'm going to have to practice with.
[B] It's got so many sounds in it, [Db] it's going to take me a little while to [F] figure out all
the [E] things it's got available, but damn [Gb] it's cool.
[B] Thank you so much.
And enjoy [Bb] every second of being able to plug me into this amazing Airplane Flanger.
