do where to go and there was [F] a man that [Db] stepped out of the crowd and walked up [C] to me _ and got
really close [D] in my personal space [Eb] _ and [G] looked me over _
[A] and he said, [F] Peebo, I'm George.
_ [Eb] _ [G] We
shook hands _ and we [C] were friends from that moment [D] _
[Am] and we'll [G] be friends to my last moment.

_ I never [D] met a more gracious human being and _ [G] so when I think of [A] Curacao I think [Dm] of George
and I [Eb] think that everybody here is [C] like George to me.
