This video will show you how to play the pedal steel guitar lead to the Brooks and Dunn song,
Working on My Next Broken Heart.
It's a pretty tough lead, it's kind of right at the end of my comfort zone or my ability.
But it's fun to do that every once in a while, so let's give this thing a whirl.

Alright, let's go over this first part, first section and see how that's played.
You start at the fourth [Ab] string at the tenth fret of the [Gb] pedal.
[Eb] [D] [B] [B]
Sixth string again, I push down the B pedal.
[G] Fourth string,
[Ab] right [E]
[Bm] [D] up on the A pedal.
Hit the [Db] sixth string with the B pedal down, then kind of rock on four and five [A] strings.
[D] [G]
[F] [Fm] [G] Eighth fret, [Fm] four and five strings, then down to the fifth [E] fret.
[D] [Abm]
[Bm] [G]

[B] Now we're going to go down to the [D] third fret.

[Eb] [D]
[C] Sixth string, [G] let that off.
Take your B pedal off, [C] then pull it back in.

Four and five, let it off the A pedal again, [C] then down to the sixth string with the B pedal down,
then back [D] to four and five and bring in the eighth.

The next part [Ab] we'll do is the slide, a little run up.
It starts on the third fret.

You're going to slide up to the third fret and hit eight, seven, [Gb] six, no pedals down.

Third [F] fret, you're going to hit the seventh string, bring it up [B] to the fifth fret,
[D] hit the sixth string with the B pedal down, then [Gm] slide the seventh string up to the eighth fret.
[E] Strings, no pedals.

[Eb] [G] Sixth string, with the B pedal down.
Then you're [A] going to hit [E] strings seven, [G] six, with the B pedal down, [A] five, B pedal up,
then bring it [E] down, [G] sixth string, sixth [Am] pedal, [Db] and then hit the sixth [G] string with the B pedal down.

It's strings three and five at the tenth fret, A and B pedals down.
