[A] [D] [Em]
[E]
[Em]
[E] [G] Peter Cetera is about to start his first tour in [D] more than a decade.

[N]
Good to see you.
I ripped that jacket that night
So the first tour in a while
I'm nervous, you know, it's funny with the with MTV and vh1 seems like you've been on tour
But you have it.
No, I've I've done a few TV shows, but it
Touring is like a whole nother thing.
You know, you would have to be set up for that
And yes, I was nervous
When did it all start kind of clicking for you
about
The last gig.
Yeah, no, it's you know, it takes about three or four songs to get any not a pop in the pads
How do you think but no this it's it's a nerve-wracking thing.
It was funny
I was singing some of your songs backstage that people may hit after hit after hit when they buy this disc
What are they gonna find?
Well, we had a hit with
Bernard
[A]
From wings, right and we had the hit called faithfully and now we're coming out with one clear voice
So is a plethora of [N] hits.
Why'd you leave Chicago?
Yeah, I think was a difference, [B] you know a musical difference.
They they wanted to go this [A] way and I wanted to beginning
How did you hook up with Chicago?
We were we were all in our bands in Chicago
So it was sort of like hey
I
[B]
Remember one of the big [N] things was the horn the big thing you said that was our name
That was that the big thing was the name of the group where they became Chicago Transit Authority
Horns weren't around then Chicago brought him back.
There was a little group called lighthouse had a song right now
Mommy a vehicle baby.
Tell me about
Just I mean, it's a horn band and what was that like?
We were doing [Ab] things that nobody else, you know, we were doing like magical [A] mystery tour
you know, we did that and got [G] to get you into my life and
People hadn't heard that in a while some of the soul tunes that we were doing people hadn't heard because it was all guitar
Your daughter
She's involved in this [Gb] and that she's what 12 years old 12 years old going on 30.
Does she go on tour with you?
Well, she did I actually got her on stage a couple of times
I was like shocking seeing my daughter behind me singing, you know now was it she said I'll never do this again
[Bb] Or was it like that's okay dad.
[Am] I'll handle the career and she's [F] gonna go
She she wanted to see what I did for a living, you know, [G] you've been home
What she just she was nervous at [B] first and then she she did it again.
[Bbm] [Gbm] It's like being a dad
[E] Well, it's pretty special.
I mean, you know
[A] You know, you only have your first daughter one time and and you know, I I spoiled her in a good way I think and
[Ab]
[B] When you're [Ab] tooling around in the car and a song that comes on that you're singing on is there one that is [G] the special song
Or a couple that jump at you sing right [Gb] along with you in the car
Well, first of all, my daughter won't [Bb] let me sing.
Okay, [Dm] dad quiet
[C]
