[F#] You [A#] know, you see [N] the winners of this world saying,
world peace, and there were a [C#] couple of voices.
One voice, [A] innocent, and [A#m] another voice, [N]
cynical.
And I'd, in 86, spent quite a long time working on a [E] peace show in Japan
[C] called Harukunai, where we would raise the money.
[G#] And there seemed to be [F] fighting amongst these groups,
and I wasn't very satisfied with how the money [B] was [C] spent
in terms of realizing and affecting people's lives.
So when I first heard of the Peace One Day Project,
I [N] have to confess, I was cynical.
[Dm] Was anyone else a little cynical?
Maybe [C] you'd like to raise your hand if there's [F] any other cynics.
I want [D] to keep you company.
[N] And I'm very [G#] pleased and delighted to say [E] that Harukunai, very [N] well.
What has happened through Jeremy's extraordinary campaign
[Cm] is really [Bm] exciting, [C#] moving, and [F]
when you see the Taliban twice signing on
for peace, [D#] signing [C] on for hostilities for one day,
so that all these kids can get immunized,
[F]
[Em] I'm reminded of what [Cm] Tutu always says, which is,
there is a [D] basic goodness in all of our [C] hearts, a generosity,
[Fm] and if you can [B] shudder that voice, [E] there's plenty [N] of opportunity
for the other one.
This is called, this is called That Voice.
