What's up everybody, this is Amadi Joe [D] representing DIB Productions.
[Bb] And since a lot of people have been asking about the chords for Show Me What You Got,
I decided to just make a video instead of emailing all the chords.
It's [Eb] going to be very straightforward and basic.
You understand?
[B] I'm just going to do a note by note.
Tell you each other's [Bbm] notes.
Alright, so as you know, [Ebm]
[Ab] this is a very basic way to [G] play it.
Alright, so [Bb] first chord, your bass is going to be an E flat.
[Eb]
Bass is E flat.
[Ebm] The chord is going to be [Db] a D [Gb] flat, F, [Gb] F sharp or G flat, [C] and a B flat.
[Ebm]
[Ebm] Alright, you get that?
Then, your second [Ab] chord, your bass is going to be a D [Db] flat.
And the [Ab] chord is going to be an E, [E]
A flat, [B] B, E flat.
And if you can reach [Db] the G flat, [Gb] I know that's a stress [Dbm] for a lot of people.
If you can't, leave the G flat off.
You get to that point.
That's the second chord.
Third chord [Ab] in your bass is [B] a B.
[Ab] Your bass is a B.
Then with your right hand, it's going to be a B flat, [Bb] D [Gb] flat, E flat, [Gb] G flat.
[B] And then, on this part, I usually go, [F] you don't have to do that.
If you want to play a chord instead, [Ab] your bass will be a [Bb] B flat.
And your chord will be a B flat, D, G flat, and B flat.
So, so far you get [Dbm] it.
[B] [Bb] And [Ab] then, the last chord is going to be an E flat with your bass.
[Eb]
With your right hand, play a G [Gb] flat, B flat, D flat, F.
And if you can add the A flat.
[Ebm]
[Bb] Then you have a transition chord.
It's the chord I told you before that chord, which is the B flat in the bass, and then the B flat, D, G flat, and B.
[Dbm] [B] [Ebm]
Then, if you want to do that [B] lick that they do with the horns, [Ebm]
all that is is E flat, F, [F] F sharp, and B flat.
[Ebm] [Ebm] That's it.
Then on the video that you saw, I just sometimes, instead of playing that, just do this in the versions of it.
So, take this D flat, play it up here.
[Eb]
Or take this D flat, play [Ebm] it up here.
[Ab] And then, another trick I got from actually [G] watching that Jamal Hartwell and [Ab] Byron Chambers video on YouTube,
the [Bb] Gospel Fun Groove, is that in this song, [Ebm] in this key, all the black keys basically sound good on their own.
[Bbm]
I hope it gives you all a good view.
[Gb] [Gb]
[Ebm] [B] [Ebm]
Any R&B songs, any rap songs, you got any questions about, let me know.
[B] I'll see what I can do for the video, but [Bbm] appreciate the love.
[Eb] And, keep coming to our page.
[Bbm] Peace out.
