Start Jamming...
So the way it works is I pump with my feet, and it goes into two sets of opposing bellows,
so it gets a constant flow of air.
It goes up through a great big tube underneath here, which you see coming up the side.
It goes through five sets of smaller bellows to distribute the air so you can't hear me pumping.
And then from there, a tiny bit of the air that I'm pumping with my feet goes towards turning the spindle here,
so that we get our song.
And then the rest of the air goes into 88 tiny little rubber hoses in the back here,
which match up with the 88 little holes on this bar, which match up with the 88 keys on the piano.
And when the air doesn't pass through, the hammer decompresses its string, and thereby I have music.
And so this way, on the paper, it's going to tell me a note to play,
and this way it's going to tell me [E] the note's status, the longer the note is held.
And then this one doesn't, but some of the music will have two little lines going off the page.
I'll draw a little one.
This does [C#] speed, warns it when I'm done.

[C] How's that?
You bet.
Shows how it's done.
