Hi everyone, welcome back to my channel.
We are getting to the last song of the side eye of Crosby, Stills and Nash record.
[N] And yeah, in the past video I made a couple of comments about the record being
Or playing very safe, or at least these three guys had a really very clear idea of what works for them
and so far they didn't take any too much risk, risking music wise, but I guess that's fine.
They are artists like that and we have to appreciate them for what they are and what they meant to people
when this music was created and performed live.
So yeah, I also mentioned and I really hope that there might be some more songs with a kick.
But yeah, let's see what the last song of the side eye has to offer.
Thank you so much for watching, I'll share a couple of comments after the song and hope you see on the flip side.
Let's dig into it.
[A] [E] [A]
[C#m] [Bm]
[E] I have kissed you, so I'll miss you, on the road I'll be [A] wanting you
[E] But I have you, [A] cause I love you, [E] and you have me cause you [A] love me too
[E]
[A] [E]
[B] [E]
[A]
[E] But forsaken, through the waking, through the joys of heaven handing low
And [E] then I will, and [A] you my will, [E] and your days will be filled [A] with [E] love
Don't burn the time of roaches, hotels and midnight brooches, be sure [A]
to [F#] hide the [D] roaches
[E]
[A]
[A]
[B] [G]
[E] [G#]
[C#m] [A]
[E] But rejected, as [A] expected, [E] you rejected all the plots I would
So I pray with you [A] to stay [E] with me forever and we'll make it work
[A]
[E]
[A] [E]
[D] [D#]
[E] Elevated, you're elated, cause I've waited a [B] year for you
[E] If you're thinking what I'm thinking, then I'm gonna make
Don't burn the [F#m] time of roaches, [F#] hotels and midnight [E] brooches, be sure to hide the [D] roaches
[C#m] [A]
[E]
Yeah, that's what I was talking about and expecting.
Something different, something to juice the things up.
I'm really glad that it was this song.
[D#] Or actually the next song that I reacted to.
So, yeah, Taking Chances, being more hard with the groove, some drums and yeah, [E] exceptional work on [N] the backward guitar I guess.
It's an engineering technique to, I guess, it's a slide guitar, but, or creating a slide guitar sound by playing it backwards.
I believe that's what's happening there.
In any case, I would like to see if anyone made a cover or how does the live version sound of this song.
It really seems like there's more energy to be dropped out on this one or to express with this one.
Really like this song.
So for me, the first and last song of the side A of this record are the best so far.
Yeah, I really like how even the harmonies were more hard, not very pleasant, not pleasantly comfortable in that direction,
but being more bold, more in a yelling kind of direction with an attitude.
So I really enjoyed that and I'm glad that they offered something else apart from a very cozy and enjoyable melodies.
So yeah, thank you so much for watching and sticking to the end of the video.
Feel free to subscribe.
I'll be continuing the journey in the following videos.
And if anything, leave me a comment.
How did you find this song and do you like the band in general?
And what should I check next?
Until then, thank you so much for your time.
