Your music to me has a dark power which is in stark contrast to your affable personalities

Not everyone would say we have _

It's working a lot of people despise our personalities

That was one of the first things we recorded

It's so damn happy

You know kind of [F] references bands like Joy Division [E] Echo and the Bunnymen [F#] wire
_ Sort of that era of post-punk and new wave
Do you think you're part of a new [F#m] movement in that sound or is your band just [E] an isolated anxiety?
Anxiety [D#] spasm, it's kind of tough to say.
I mean we have some
_ _ Some kin in the music industry
There's a couple of bands that I feel like are kind of on the same page as us not at a festival like this
We were kind of sandwiched in between DJs.

_ I don't know if that's just how it goes here.
It's our first time being here.
But [B] uh, we have a few
I don't [F#] know like-minded bands, I guess kind of a savages.
It's amazing [G#] to see [A] Savages
Absolutely.
[G] _ I think they're drawing from a lot of the [F#m] same stuff as us.
I hear that
Proto-martyr really good friends from Detroit's and they're kind of drawing from a lot of the same influences as well
I think you're if I'm not mistaken, you're from Calgary, right?
We're all from Calgary.
We're not you don't live there anymore
I see that's kind of where this _
If [F#] we could recommend one song for our audience to hear [F#m] right now if they could just go to
An [F#] online Spotify whatever and listen to one song pre-occupation _

Can I tell you you know my recommendation my favorite two songs are memory and stimulation
I remember we played a live thing on your show
And we played simulation.
We kind of a train [F] wrecked it

Makes [E] the hair [D] on the back of my neck [F#] stand up in a good in a good way
Thank you, but also I love memory because the the [D#] arrangement is just so out there
I feel like that's maybe a good one to start from it kind of covers all the bases.

Kind of where we're _ [F#] a lot of weirdo guitar playing a lot of weird time signature stuff and a [B] lot of different changes
