This is the newest [A] member of the Martin Road Series,
[E] and pays homage to the famous D-18 [A] mahogany dreadnought.
The DRS-GT is [Em] a 14 fret [E] dreadnought.
We call it that because the neck joins the body at the 14th fret.
There are 20 [D] frets total.

The bodywoods on the DRS-GT are sapele,
and I might add it's solid sapele.
Sapele is also known as [A] striped mahogany,
and the top is solid Sitka spruce.

[B] [B] The neck is a one-piece neck [E] made of a wood called [B] sipo.
It's a variation of mahogany.
The bridge and fingerboard on [A] the DRS-GT are made of [A] a material called black rich light.
It is a [E] composite material.
The body and the neck are joined with Martin's mortise and tenon neck joint.

[D] These rings around the [E] sound hole are a multi [A]-ring inlaid [Em] rosette.
The binding for the top is a standard black binding.
The headstock overlay [A]
is a rosewood pattern HPL.
The fingerboard inlays are [Em] small mother of pearl [E] dots.
The pickguard is a black plastic standard Martin [B] pickguard.
The nut and saddle, this being the nut, this being the saddle down [E] here,
are made of white Corian.

It's called the Fishman Sonotone System.

They're chrome-plated.
Inside these housing are gears that are packed in a lubricant
