Ralph
I'm doing great Ralph.
I am so glad to have you on they they asked me to host the show and they asked me to get
Some guests together and I wanted so bad to have you here
And when you said you'd come you didn't call back and say well I can't now and and I appreciate that so much
Ralph I don't know if y'all know this probably a lot of you do Ralph was the first boss I ever had
15 years old I went to work with Ralph and
I'll tell you he yeah.
Oh
So I got my boss back here again, and I'm just so proud to have Ralph once you introduce the boys in the band
Most of them have changed since then
Even the ones that's been that was there then have changed so
[C#]
So I want you I want you to introduce them
Okay, let's start off with the old man and anybody can tell who that is
He's been with me 20 years and he's never missed the show Ricky during that 20 years
He's been laid on two and [N] drunk on 13
Finally guitar player from the state of Virginia.
He's been with me nine years and his name is junior blanket chair
Then we'll move over to the
Next oldest member of the group way over on the big bass fiddle
And he's given me 17 years of honest and dependable service by playing the bass and a few other things
You might know some of them.
Yeah
Is Jack still the mayor of Norton, Virginia, no, they put him out a few years ago
And boats and my lead singer he's from your part of the country Ricky from Sandy Hook
You've heard of Sandy Hook, Kentucky, yes, I have and he does a fine job.
His name is Sammy Adkins.
All right, Sammy
Well me and me and Keith Whitley both started with Ralph about the same time and I know a lot of you know
Keith Whitley now he's doing real great and we're real proud of him and
It's just it's just good to know that we got started got our roots in the soil good and deep Ralph
They're in eastern, Kentucky and southwestern part of Virginia and that old-time country music and those kind of roots don't ever leave do they?
I don't think so
And I appreciate all the good things that you've said about me all over the country and you can't beat that part of the country
Eastern Kentucky in Virginia, can you know they know how to fry taters
Don't go away because we're coming right back stay [Bm] with us
