And basically how it all came [E] about is
Remo had sent me the prototypes while I was out on tour in North America.
And they sent me a batch of them.
And we were using at the time [Gm] clear vintage emperors,
which were great heads and [F] sounded great on my [C] kit.
But when we put these on, it was an instant love affair.
And when I say instant, I mean my front of house sound engineer was like,
Hey, what'd you do?
Told him, hey, we changed the heads.
[Eb] We're trying some new prototypes out from Remo.
And he [C] was amazed.
My [D] drum tech was like, hey, you gotta,
[Ab] I think these are the new heads for this [C] kit.
And even though the vintage emperors sounded great
and were [Gm] pulling her almost [C] perfect tones for me from that [N] kit,
these just seemed to give it a little bit [D] more bite and attack
and made the drum tones a little bit [C] brighter, which I like to hear.

And to [C] top it off with [Gm] the ebony look, the [C] heads are just sexy now.
