Ok, so we're going to start this next lick up on the high E string at the 5th fret with
a downstroke, hammering on to the 7th and 8th frets with the 3rd and 4th fingers, [B] before
pulling off back to the 1st finger.
[C]
[E]
[G]
And then using a hammer on from [D#] nowhere, hitting down
hard and from a height with the 4th finger on the 8th fret B string, [B]
[E] [Em]
pulling off to 7
and 5,
[F#] [A] then sliding the 1st finger up to the 7th fret, then hammering [G] 8 and 10, pulling
off back, [F#] [E] hitting down on the G9th fret, opening the span right out, [E]
[D] pulling off to
7 [C] and 5, resolving [B] into the 2nd bar with a slide [G#] down to the 4th fret.
So playing so
far using a 16th note time frame.
1 [B] E and a [E] 2 E and a 3 E and a 4 [D] E [G] and a [B] 1.
[A] [E]
[B]
[D#] Then the
same type of sequence, repeats from the 4th fret,
[G] [F#] sliding up to [G] 5, stretching out,
[Em] [D] [E]
finishing
with the 7th fret on the A string and pulling downwards for the vibrato.
Let's take a look
at the lick play through slowly.
