The title of it is [B] Won't Fade Away.
You know, I think of the scriptures, I think [E] of all the promises that God has given us
for [B] each of us, that Christ is with us always.
And through every [D] good time, every hard time, every trial,
[E] through everything, Christ is always with us.
And I began to realize that, you know, there's really a parallel [F#] message there,
that if Christ [E] is with us and working in and through us,
then the good news is that we won't fade away [N] either.
With his purpose operating through our lives.
As musicians, guys, I want to encourage all of you.
And you know, it's not just, this [E] is not just a topic that I'm dwelling on
because I am getting at that point.
I'm a little older than Bob, I'll be 59 next month and [B] feeling great about it actually.
But, you know, I realize God's got a lot for all of us
and you put yourself as a musician in a very vulnerable [E] spot.
Today what we did is we critiqued people's songs
[C#] and Paul and I, Paul Blasch and I, and I'm sure all the other [D#m] instructors felt the same [N] way.
We would hate to be in your shoes because even at this point,
if [E] we wrote a song and had somebody else sing it with a guitar vocal demo,
even after many, many dozens or hundreds of songs later,
it's a [F] hard place to be in when you put your music out there.
[B] But I just want to encourage every [E] one of you.
We heard some great music today [Em] and we [Bm] just saw your heart through those lyrics,
through the efforts [E] that you made.
And I don't ever want you to feel that God doesn't have something [G#] amazing for you
because He does [E] today, He does tomorrow, He does some,
He has something great all the way to the end of [D] your lives.
And just [G#m] know that if Christ is working [E] in and through you,
then it's going to be all good.
Amen?
[F#] [A] [E] [B]
[F#m] [E] Through [B] the longest [F#m] night, in [A] my darkest hour,
[E] through [B] the worst of [F#] times you are [A] radiant.
[E] When I've [B] lost all hope, [F#m] at [A] the end of my rope,
[C#] I will [B] not fear [F#] you.
[A] Won't [E] fade away, [F#m] no matter what [A] they say.
Won't [C#] fade away, [E] Lord, the [A] glory of your face.
Won't fade away, [E] won't fade away.

I [B] can't escape [F#m] this [A] love for me.
Won't fade [E] away, no matter what they say.
Won't fade away, [C#m] [F#m] Lord, the glory of your face.
Won't [A] fade away, [E] won't fade away.
And I'll see [C#] you, see [A] you only.
