Hoochie coo, [Abm] lordy mama light my fuse.
I [Ab] was in the town hall at the Hoochie Coo.
There was a band called the Jokers, they were laying the down.
Dickey Duck was only Jokers.
So right here in Dickey Duck, there was about 20 million people.
It was fun meeting my brother, Tony, and coming up around.
Tony was so impressed with me and the way I worked on the studio.
It was fun meeting you, it was fun meeting his wife, which is very lovely.
You have a lot of great stories, which is something I'm very pleased to hear from.
Thank you.
I have a question for you.
Yes?
What kind of music do you like to dance?
Well, I was dancing to pop music.
I was in a pop school for eight years.
I was dancing to a group of six girls a week.
[Bb] But then when Harry and Creepy came out, the first thing we forgot about was the kids.
We didn't know what to expect.
Creepy was under the radar.
The first thing we forgot [Eb] about was kids.
So I was never into kids until then.
But then about 16 years ago, I was going through some problems.
I was in my first home with my wife at that time.
And all of a sudden, I remembered all the comments that everyone said,
why am I doing comedy in your house?
And I was like, I'm not doing any of this.
I'm a poet.
And then I thought it was a good idea to find poetry that was to those girls' tunes.
And then years, I think it was the movies,
and you know, there are a lot of those movies,
but there's real creepy and creepy in each of them.
And one of the things that I mean by that is,
I mean, people I speak with tell me that the word,
but the word has many, many meanings.
And then you have to find it to find it.
And then that really turned into the purpose of my life,
of being with somebody that was less involved in comedy than me.
I mean, somebody that was a little more intelligent than me,
maybe a little more tender than me.
And then, you know,
a place where you can buy a beautiful evening,
and you can sit in the middle of the country,
and you can go to the island,
and you can go to the women's,
and you have some women's poetry.
In fact, we have a [N] lyric to Rockin' on H.E.T.
I'm going to give you a piece of [E] what we did.
[Db] [Ab] And then I'll give you the real lyrics, [Gb] too.
Because [Ab] some people feel [F] slight of it.
[Eb]
Couldn't stop shouting when it first took [Ab] hold
Was an awesome [Db] night at the old church [Ab] hall
[G] [Ab] There was an old-time [B] preacher, he was laying it [Ab] down
Heard the word, and you [Eb] know I can't forget that sound
[Ab] [Gb]
Read the word, live it, [Abm] too
[Eb]
[Gb] Let [Db] the truth be seen in [Ab] you
[E]
Read [Db] the word, live [Abm] it, too
[Eb]
[G] [Gb] Drop on out and spread the [G] news
The [Cm] good news we're talking about now
[Eb]
You're in a battle when you're in a fight
[Ab]
You [Db] already know what's wrong and [Abm] right
Just reach for your [Db] Bible, it's there for [Ab] you
Cause if you [Abm] seek and pray, he'll show you what to do
[E] Read the [Db] word, live [Abm] it, too
[Gb] Let the truth be seen in [Abm] you
Live
[Em] [Db] [Ab] it, too
[Db] Drop on out and spread [Abm] the news
[E] That [Gb] I'm trying to pin [Ab] to
[E] Lord, [Gb] I'm glad that [Ab] I'm with you
[Gb] Read the [Db] word, and live [Eb] it, too
So that's the Christian lyric.
